Christ, by the time you stop asking questions and buy the sodding phone, we'll all be using 5G.

Don't worry, he's just trolling.

This f*ckwittery 100% confirms it for me:

Having said that, the G4 meets almost all of my requirements, and if EE/LG implemented native VoLTE to unlocked handsets, then it would meet all of my requirements (as I'd be able to swap out the battery for a bigger one if required).”

My LG G4 has the bootloop issue now. I'm going to try and get LG to fix it so we shall see. Until then I have no CA device in a city full of 2CA.

Pedro, good luck. I hope you get a fast turnaround but from the experience of many reviewers and my own, you cpuld be without your phone for a number of weeks.

My advice is to call them regularly and ask for updates - I found after call number 4, where I was polite but persistent, they finally fixed my phone and sent it back.

Love your yt vids, your knowledge is impressive.
By the way I found full signal CA in the prospect centre in hull this week.

Did you get your G4 new or used? I recall you stating in your video about the Field Test mode, that you can get them for £200 used (and that is what I have found as well, on eBay) however, I have noticed that Argos are selling the G4 for £300, and that is new (and would likely include some sort of warranty).

Should I get the new G4 instead of the used G4? Also, were there any signs of this issue before it started bootlooping?

Definitely.

Manufacturer's warranties generally only apply to the original purchaser.

Thanks for the advice and apologies about the delay. I'm definitely getting a LG G4 new, because I have now seen on Three's website that Three-bought LG G4s are VoLTE compatible - so I'm hopeful that EE ones, as well as unlocked ones, will soon be VoLTE ready as well (once the software updates and carrier settings for this have been released).

It's a shame that the OP isn't here anymore because the LG G4 is now £249.95 from Argos.

Good little phone at that price.
