Thanks, for the heads up.

As I said, I'll be fast-forwarding through her performance. Anyone who wants to watch what I suspect will be "a lot of fringing shaking about," (it's what the BBC often do with contestants with fuller-figures), is fine by me, why should I mind?

It's a few others on here who get their knickers in a twist over a few adverse comments about someone they don't even know..

I'm probably being thick, but the title of this thread confused me: I seriously wondered if Tameka was actually ill. Silly me, it seems that it's another thread designed to bash a celebrity that the OP doesn't like.

I don't watch EE, had no idea who Tameka was until she turned up on ITT last year, and am fairly indifferent to her in the competition. Yet here I am, posting in a thread about her. Go figure.
I don't watch Eastenders, I knew I'd seen her somewhere before, she was just as annoying on ITT. Get her off ASAP.

A louder Lisa Riley .
I didn't think that was possible but it looks like i've been proven wrong.

Attention seeker which is what she sets out to be.
A little is going to go a long way ... she's exhausting. Spare a thought for Gorka!

WOW!!!

All this heated conversation going on and I wasn't even involved. Usually, every argument around here revolves around me!!!

For my two-penneth worth, I like tiny Tameka with the massive personality. She had me in stitches in the Launch Show but I must admit, she overdid it a bit too much on Saturday. Still love here though.

She has clearly been hired for a purpose. Ed Balls was not exactly booked for his sparkling wit and personality. So guess who was? Yes, it may not be to everyone's taste, but isn't that the whole point - catering to different tastes. For example, I cannot stand Judge Rinder...far too try hard (and fail) for my liking. But I wish him no ill - my only wish is that he gets booted next week. Never gonna happen, I know but there you go...

Can't believe I am 'playing peacemaker' and telling everyone to calm down around here - what a turnaround!!!
Lol!! Tameka & the judge going in the first two weeks would spell Strictly heaven for me!!

I was away at the weekend and only watched the shows on iplayer this afternoon. That laugh is going to drive me nuts. She got on my nerves right from the outset.

Her dance was decidedly ropey and I think, judging from the amount of hyperventilating, stomping and snorting going on in that Paso, that she was channeling the bull, rather than the cape.

I would never vote for a woman who steals and miss-uses a disabled parking badge.

The paso was never my favourite dance and I am afraid that this didn't help change my mind about it, it was definitely overmarked by the judges. Your post made me laugh, imo it perfectly describes the way she danced, the judges seem to like and to overmarked the most flamboyant and outgoing characters, eg Lisa Riley, her personality seems to mirror the character sheet plays on eastenders. I don't like or dislike her, but I wonder are we seeing the real tamika or is she still in her eastenders persona.

I don't watch Eastenders so I have no idea what her character on that is like. I can't say I'm at all keen on her at all, based purely on what I have seen so far. She's too brash and overbearing. I think her partner might have his work cut out in getting her to achieve any degree of grace or elegance...

I do watch Eastenders, but only on sky+ so I can FF the likes of Tameka, imo she will never have grace or elegance. I feel sorry for the new guy...

And uses disabled toilets because there's more room for her shopping bags .

I'm still smiling because of the grief I got for just saying.

"I can't stand the woman, so desperate for attention."

Not liking a celebrity = pushing over a child.

Exactly!

It's not like I pushed over a celebrity, is it?

I think you'd be OK pushing over any number of celebrities. It's pushing over a Clifton that's the ultimate depravity.
