I just naturally have more of a connection with quieter people, because they are more like myself.
Tameka is not reserved. I don't think you understand what the word means. It does not refer to how someone feels on the inside, but how they behave on the outside. I actually think you are confusing shy, with reserved, a very common mistake.
There is an unfortunate general shift in society today towards everyone being encouraged to be an extrovert, from early childhood onwards, as if this is the preferable way to live your life, and the only way to be happy. When in fact if you are a natural introvert, trying to be a fake extrovert is only going to make you miserable.
As a result of this, many people perceive loud, extroverted behaviour as "having a personality", when it is in fact just one of many types of personality. People who are not behaving in this way, are then heavily criticized. I think that this is a great shame.
The problem is, that while introverts do not try to convert extroverts, some extroverts are always trying to encourage quieter types to be more sociable, get out more, have a personality, etc, etc. Actually your reactions to my posts on this thread, and your peculiar Stepford Wives comment, indicts to me that you just that kind of person.”

I know it's off topic but I completely agree with your post
. I really like Danny, I think he is great dancer and has a nice personality too. Perhaps some people assume that somebody with such breathtaking good looks can't have a great personality to match
.
