Is it just me or is this strictly takeover by the 'Cliftons' just too much

I'm interested in Karen and Joanne as not seen so much of them...I do wish Kevin had got somebody else though.

I preferred Little House On The Prairie myself.

That's unkind.
Originally there were only two Cliftons, you've also got long term partners like Janette and Aljaz.
Wanna complain about them?

It only became three Cliftons when Kevin Married Karen Hauer.

It's no worse than the Jordans a decade ago

I'm not keen on Kevin and he should have got a weak partner this year. Louise more than anyone had experience and a known dance background.

Karen has had duffers but she, and Jannette, seem to always want camera attention upstairs. I don't like them that much, especially compared to Natalie and Oti.

Joanne I don't really know. Scott was a disaster and last year she didn't get one, So willing to give her the benefit of doubt

All three of them are heinous.

Attention seeking, annoying, over the top, too much fluff in their dances that distract from the dancing.

Get rid of them all I say.

How is it too much? It isn't Strictly the Cliftons nor are they taking over. Although as time goes on and there are fewer couples left, if all three or maybe even two Cliftons are still in the comp, it may seem like Clifton overload.

I like the Cliftons . All of them .
They can't help being super talented .
Well they could help it be not practicing or getting fat and lazy , but instead they choose to work hard and it shows . Good for them .

I do also. Not Diva's and sour grapes like some others.

I've always loved Karen when she's had the duffers. Never thought she was the best for contenders, but she is lovely and I hope to see her do well with Will.
I hope Joanne has learned from that Tango with Ore. I know she had Scott Mills, and the messing around was fine then, but Ore can actually dance. Plus, she's due a good partner, so she shouldn't waste it.
Kevin, not keen on. Too OTT for me. HATE how he got a 4th ringer in a row.
Has that ever happened?
Should have been Kevin with Lesley, Anton with Naga, Pasha with Tameka and Gorka with Louise.

Very tempting to agree with that sentiment.
This is just yet another pointless and needless Clifton bashing thread for no good reason whatsoever. I will focus on the dancing and not get concerned about the personalities involved.

I am not hugely keen on the OTT. Choreography but I will say that all three Cliftons are hugely supportive and encouraging to all the celebs

I think it may be just you. I don't recall reading any other threads about them.

Always hilarious to see comments like this after a show has just aired where the two pros concerned were barely seen in Claudia's area at all!..

OP, do yourself a favour and do a search before you start a Clifton-bashing thread. There are a million already and they all say the same tiresome, ridiculous things that have been repeated ad nauseum for months now. It's not Kevin, Karen and Joanne's fault that they're all dancers, that they're all related or that they all got hired by the BBC. If you don't like it, no-one's forcing you to watch. End of story.

I agree and Karen was amazing with the Hairy Biker. Karen is so supportive of all her partners no matter how well or badly they can dance. I agree with Len that Joanne's Tango took a long time to start. I like them all and not sure what they have done to offend.

The only ones who make the show all about the Cliftons are their detractors!

Joanne Clifton I think is the best female dancer in the show.

My only concern with the Cliftons is that Kevin either gets paired with someone who matches his enthusiasm and it grates (Suzannah, Kellie) or he gets the unassuming ringer and then proceeds to stomp all over them (I.e I feel Frankie would have have had a stronger season with almost any other non-Anton pro). I feel Louise may fall into the latter.

I would have loved to see him with someone like Anastacia or Naga, who seem pretty sure of who they are and what they are about and could have channelled his energy levels to match them.

Guess we wait and see

By that I assume you think Frankie would have won rather than merely reaching the final!!
