Always hilarious to see comments like this after a show has just aired where the two pros concerned were barely seen in Claudia's area at all!..
OP, do yourself a favour and do a search before you start a Clifton-bashing thread. There are a million already and they all say the same tiresome, ridiculous things that have been repeated ad nauseum for months now. It's not Kevin, Karen and Joanne's fault that they're all dancers, that they're all related or that they all got hired by the BBC. If you don't like it, no-one's forcing you to watch. End of story.

I like the Cliftons . All of them
.They can't help being super talented . Well they could help it be not practicing or getting fat and lazy , but instead they choose to work hard and it shows . Good for them . |

I've always loved Karen when she's had the duffers. Never thought she was the best for contenders, but she is lovely and I hope to see her do well with Will.
I hope Joanne has learned from that Tango with Ore. I know she had Scott Mills, and the messing around was fine then, but Ore can actually dance. Plus, she's due a good partner, so she shouldn't waste it. Kevin, not keen on. Too OTT for me. HATE how he got a 4th ringer in a row. Has that ever happened? Should have been Kevin with Lesley, Anton with Naga, Pasha with Tameka and Gorka with Louise. Back on topic: the Clintons aren't my favourites either, but I see no reason to moan about them when there are several other pros I do like. If anything, I'm glad to have a moment to run to the fridge whilst Kevin and partner chew the scenery. |

Wow, how can anyone be negative over Karen Clifton. Her crime -marriage to Kevin! His enthusiasm is often misread. He's a great dancer. Joanne is a bit annoying but I think it's the family dynamic of a loud older brother. She's a great dancer, she made a mistake this weekend with Ore. Karen Clifton is an angel. She's had a good deal of the cards this year. As Will gets fitter she will knock him into shape!

Was Susanna Reid really considered a ringer? How much previous dance experience did she have? I'm thinking ringer has lost it's meaning. Is Naga considered a ringer? She's IMO from the similar setting with Susanna.

Just wait when Papa Clifton becomes the head judge
Surprisingly only Joanne irritated me this round, with that so called tango with a big dollop of faffing about on top. Kevin, who isn't my favourite, actually did well this time and kept it authentic. Karen isn't blood relative and it shows She has her own style which I like so far.

Anyways, I do agree that the Cliftons are lovely people, much more so than the Jordans, I just think we see a bit much of them at times. |

I would have liked to see Kevin with a more middle of the road contestant this year, maybe Naga, to really show teaching and progression.
Joanne I like so far, I hope she gets the choreography right for Ore. I actually think Ore might be the harder part of the couple to warm to, seems to play to the camera a lot when with Claudia. I don't mind Karen and liked her a lot with Dave and Jeremy, but again sometimes seems to put a big act on when the camera is pointed at her. |

I think Kevin brought great fun and zest into SCD. Karen was his partner - like many of them in the early days of SCD. They then married and she became a Clifton. Not unusual in earlier SCD's
Then Joanne joined. Since then we have had the haters-( who I am sure are the posters who would normally comment on BB; X factor ad nauseum.) On these programmes people have to have a hate figure that they can read about in the tabloid press. Just try and enjoy the programme for what it is . I know of some people hated Bruce and said they could not watch SCD because of him. How ridiculous to miss a good programme for a few minutes of Brucie's twaddle between dances. |

Not exactly a ringer, but had competed in the CIN Special and won. Still, 3 of 4 ringers is too much.

Hasn't Pasha had the same amount of good dancers? Or good on paper from tge start? 3 out of 4. But there aren't tens of threads dedicated to hating him.
Kimberley- Ringer Rachel- Good on paper, not ringer, turned out not so good. Caroline- Ringer Carol- Duffer Naga- No dance experience. In a competitive year, unlikely to go far. 2/6 Ringers, and another 2 contenders. |

Lets face it, it seems as though the PTB are determind for Kevin to win or get into another final
four ringers in a row, its about time he got a duffer and Im really sick of his staged retro routines |

I liked Kevin when he first started but have gone off him a bit. His frantic choreography makes my head hurt sometimes. When he is paired with someone like Kellie it can all be too much at times. Louise is a much calmer person and that can only be a good thing. I loved their retro jive last night. But 4 good dancers in a row is a bit unfair I think.
Karen is brilliant with duffers. She and Jeremy made me cry with laughter, as did her and Dave. Joanne is a step too far for me. I find her immature and her face gurning is annoying, If one of them had to leave she would be my first choice. I like her ballroom dancing with Anton but that's it. |
