I thought that was hilarious, the fact it went wrong even more so.

Claudia brings the perfect amount of humour and professionalism to Strictly! Tess is obviously the more serious host, whereas Claudia gives us a giggle and you can tell the celebs adore her!

Love her and I love the silly bits in the middle like this.
Also laughed at her giving AJ that pyramid toy as a present. AJ took it in good part too.

Her humour and smart one liners make the show. The fact the joke went a bit wrong made it even funnier ! I've had an appreciation of Claudia since she was doing Take Two all those years ago ! Best laugh too!

I think so, too, Brucie also had this sort of jokes. But while he apparently irritated many people, Claudia is considered very funny. I like/d both.

The difference is that Brucie laboured his joke if it didn't get the reaction he wanted (which meant all of them) - Claudia just shrugs and moves on, keeping the flow of the show. Unlike him, she knows the show isn't all about her!

Really cannot take to her at all and find the props yawn-inducing............and that isn't a popular opinion around here.

No way would I watch Strictly without my sky +, I can't take to the Winkle person and her ditzy personality. Everything about her annoy me and I find her totally unwatchable.

God knows I like the inane, but that 8-year-old's stuff was sad, really.
I'd like to know what the credentials are of whoever writes the 'comedy'.

It made me laugh. Claudia's gently anarchic humour is a good counterpoint to all the cheesiness. Loved it when she gave the fresh faced AJ a toddlers toy to play with, and he took it in good humour.

There was a similar joke in an episode of Canadian police show Due South...

A bunch of crooks dressed as Santa Claus had robbed a bank and partway through the episodes a load of people dressed as Elvis walked past and one of the cops shouted "I said elves you morons, ELVES!!!"

I love Claud!

It's these kind of jokes that make me love her even more. Her gift-giving to AJ was great too and her ab-libbed stuff just makes her perfect for Strictly!

Without fail, a Claud joke always makes me laugh.

I find her hilarious. I don't think she'll ever be able to top throwing marbles onto the dancefloor last year though.
