I upgraded my phone to a Nokia 6630 last week. Since then, even though I am in Central London daily, I have never had 3G on my screen. Do I need to get a new sim or is my old one ok?

Thanks in advance.

If your old SIM is a 2G SIM, then yes. You'll need to get yourself a USIM, the 3G compatible type

(and possibly get it all set up with your network)

Will I have to pay for a USIM card?

i wouldn't have thought so. O2 should have given you one with the upgrade, but perhaps you have to be on a 3G specific tariff (if o2 do any) to get the sim

Just rang them up, seems the guy in the shop should have given me the sim.

They are gonna send me one now.
