What about Maxy boy? I'd rather he moved in next door to Ian and became the neighbour from hell

belinda should stay with the fowlers till there is more than just her. If she ever gets her own family unit then ship her out

Well to be honest I wish they'd never converted the Branning house into flats. So many memorable moments have happened in that house from the Mitchell's to The Watts to The Brannings. Same with The Slater house as well

I thought Shirley had the flat before the house burnt down.....guess not, in fact, when did Shirley even move in there?

I quite miss some of the old sets actually thinking back now, like the old chip shop flat that Ian used to live in, the Slater's house (so iconic for the 2000 era). Even the bookies and R&R (I remember so much drama in here, like Steve Owen murder, Johnny Allen's office antics, etc).

I am sure that all the characters in the show must be drug dealers or hookers - no one on their assumed wage (due to their jobs on the show) would be able to afford the rent / mortgage payments for the property that they live in. So far from reality its unreal.

Probably planned by Mcbeale, I mean it's not like she needs an upstairs now and she doesn't have any children or any children on the horizon to steal to put in the rooms

I can see Lauren moving in with Max when he is back. Steven too if they are still together

Don't doubt the McBeale lea. I'm sure she'll have her claws into someone else's baby soon enough. Just wait until Ronnie asks someone to babysit Matthew, she'll be over the moon at the thought of turning another baby into a psycho

Actually now you come to mention it, I don't think baby Louie is safe!

How many times has jane mentioned to lauren etc to leave the baby with her (even tho she cant move)

Whats the betting Mcbeale will hide the fact she can move again from everyone so she can steal the baby

Last week when Louie was crying upstairs and Lauren was turning a being eye to it - we all thought that McBeale was smiling because she'd been glammed up and complimented a bit, but make no mistake. It was really because she had a lightbulb moment!

You could almost visualise her stroking her fluffy white pussy as she mulled over her masterplan...

It's funny how a non Cora thread has been hijacked and turned into a Cora thread.

couldn't agree more - but things may be changing now, think of Martin & Stacey questioning whether they can afford to move !!!! one or two of them may even buy a washing machine. Ian & Phil have one don't they?

If I wanted realism I'd watch a documentary. I want entertainment so I watch EastEnders

Sure they do take liberties but it's not the end of the world.

I don't get why some people need it to be so accurate. It's a piece of fiction.

right, we all know EE is so out of touch with 2016.

I've only watched it since 2001

so how did it match the proper eastend when it first started in 1985 ? ethniticity, people's jobs, shops, launderette, property: renting/buying ? you name it.

I suspect it matched perfectly, and that it, to a certain extent have remained in the 80s.

Get them with their fancy ways.

The Brannings had one as well. I remember Tanya using the laundrette when her machine broke down.

Cora is eastenders leading lady and its all about the beehive.

Gosh cora is the single most important thing about Eastenders, without her it would all grind to a halt

There seems to be a lot of empty properties on the Square. If Vincent is axed and it's a possibility Kim will not be able to stay in that big house!
