Why should they have any, Halloween is very american, and isnt a big wow over here.
What about a nice Bonfire Night story, where Celebrations in the Square get out of control, getting rid of some of the axed characters |

Max and Cora return Scrabbler!!!!
A Cora return Scrabbler!!! That would be scary for many on here. Seriously I think Max is likely to return on Halloween. |

Gavin escapes and returns to the square, while Max, Cora and Chrissie turn up in a camper van looking for revenge on Walford's residents.

Halloween has become an EE tradition in recent years.
I think Max will be back and will start terrorising those involved in covering up Lucy's murder, with the big reveal on Halloween night. |

I'd like there to be a horror movie style Jane and Max 2 hander. First, Ian rushes off as Kathy is missing and he learns Gavin has escaped.
First Jane gets prank phone calls. "Do you like horror movies" etc. Then when she tries to call the police or Ian the phone line goes dead. Suddenly she realises her mobile phone has vanished - someone must have taken it when she went to the toilet. Then the power goes out, and when she goes to the kitchen "Lucy" is written on the fridge in what appears to be blood. She goes to the front door and to her horror, a man with a scream mask and Freddie Crugar hand is standing there and barges his way in. A terrified Jane says he can have whatever he wants. He takes the mask off, and its Max underneath. Eventually Max drugs Jane and takes her to the common, and as she comes round, she realises Max is burying her alive. He rescues her at the last minute, and the pair have a heart to heart where Max gets retribution and Jane realises her mistakes. Finally, Max and Cora move into their bedsit. The duff duffs show cora taking off her wig and makeup to reveal..... Gavin - and a quick flashback to Cora running away scared of him. Alternatively, Cora and Max return, having lived in a flat together for the last few months. Max is depressed with severe PTSD and Cora has been caring for him. She starts to smother him more and more as he reminds her of the son she gave away when Gavin raped her. It soon becomes clear the Branning duo are the new Norman Bates and mother.... Max's first victim is meant to be Jane, but he mistakes Roxy for her and realises when its too late. |

I think it's certain Max will return on Halloween as Jake has already returned to filming, whether Cora returns then or later I don't know but EastEnders has a habit of characters turning unexpectedly like Ryan did last week (we knew he was returning but we didnt know when exactly) so we could see Cora at any point from the end of October onwards.
I definitely think Max and Cora have been in contact off screen after Max was released from Prison. |

Gavin was awful but did he have a connection to Cora?
Other than the fact their daughters were friends for a short period of time. |

Dennis Rickman return? They could say he didn't really die from the stabbing and left to hide from Johnny but he's only just got the text to say its safe to come back. Seems like a perfect Eastenders storyline.
