I still don't like how baby Arthur was made Kushs kid for the shock despite no previous indication that Kush and Stacey had sex. I really feel that the current Fowler unit will last long term and so to have another Fowler child would be beneficial to the shows future. I would like Martin and Stacey to build the next generation together

I'm all for them having another child or two in order to build up the Fowlers. Stacey is still young and has plenty of time.

It would be great to see a married couple plan to have a child without some sort of scandal being involved- ie no who's the daddy or Martin getting someone else preggers in the meantime

There was really no need to make Kush Arthur's dad. Shabnam could've left him just based on his cheating on her with Stacey, it didn't need to be because of the baby. It cheapened Martin and Stacey's relationship and made Stacey look like an awful person, deceiving everyone for months. I also didn't like how she was immediately let off the hook for her lies just because of her breakdown. And Kush has nothing to do with Arthur anyway, which makes the whole story feel extra pointless.

It reminds me of when they made Tommy Michael Moon's son. That was also completely unnecessary.

In time, it might be a nice idea for them to have another child together. Right now I dont think we need anymore pregnancy.

Why can't soaps cast characters that don't have, and don't want, children?

There are more childless people in the country than gay people, yet these never get the same representation.

In the past in EE, if a man found out his wife cheated and had a baby with another man, and he stayed with his wife anyway, then the couple would have twins in the future (ie Ian and the Beale twins, Alfie and Bert and Ernie) so I'm hoping Martin and Stacey raise some Fowler twins in the future. Martin will carry the twin gene as his mother was part of a twin (and therefore she was in a generation where twins could be produced as she formed a twin with Pete)

Not that I'm complaining as I can't stand Stacey with a passion but I wonder how Lacey feels about Staceys first major plot in about 4 months being about arguing what Bex wants for her tea.

Keep it up though the less screen time she has benefits my wanting to watch

I disagree. It shows a side of a character we'd never get to see otherwise. The likes of Ian, Phil and Martin are made more human by their interactions with their children.
