It needs to be axed or revamped, the switching in and out is an utter joke... Why can't they just fill the six seats and that's it...

I found it entertaining, so glad Louis is back and doesn't mind playing the fool for the producers, would have been boring with someone serious just picking the 6 best.

Ive been enjoying this series but they really need to scrap 6 chair challenge. Its just horrible and uncomfortable viewing. Makes the whole programme negative.

The contestents know how the show uses people, but they still make the choice to go on it.

In order to carry out this rubbish. Only he would humiliate himself and allow his acts to be humiliated.

ETA I think one of the major problems with the 6 chair challenge is unlike the auditions where they seemed to have learnt a lesson and showed them in full, they prefer to fill out the full 2 hours (or did it just seem that long ) with pretend drama and just show seconds of the acts actually singing

Up until tonight I was enjoying this series.

Some of them are still in their teens, they dont know the extent the disregard for them goes. Most parentsshould be very wary sending their kids into this environment.

Other than the Chicken Tonight duo I think Louis' choices were probably the best of the lot. How he got there though...

I don't think the Six Chair Challenge episodes wrere any better or worse than other years. It's always the same, particularly with Louis.

I find its mainly the audience constantly screaming and booing and shouting off off off thats the worst thing about it. Fine do 6 chair challenge but take away the audience.

Even Simon did a pretty poor job. Most of the early girls he sat in chairs were HORRID oversingers, but the insane audience just bullied them into those chairs by screaming like loons for everyone.

Nichole was the least terrible of the judges at this stage, but that's not saying much (the bar was very low).

The best thing to do would be to say "the mentor's choice is final - once you're out, you're out". There's a reason the mentor voted an act out in the first place, let them stick to it.

I agree with a lot of the posts above. This Chair Challenge is cruel, a lot of the contestants are very young it's not going to do their confidence much good treating them the way they do just for so called entertainment and not just for the younger ones either.
It seems like the judges get some kind of kick out of humiliating people just because they can.
They should ditch this part and just go straight through to Judges Houses because three of them are going to go anyway.
