First time I have watched this show since the crowning of the magnificent Sam Bailey.

I had no idea that the X Factor could ever become a bigger joke than it already was.

We have people up in arms about the ousting of Honey G, possibly the worst act ever to get to boot camp. In my opinion, this was obviously a prank.

We have the return of the joke act in Ottavio and Bradley, an act who couldn't win this show if they were the only entrants.

And we have the utter farce with Louis and his unprecedented levels of incompetence and indecision.

Organisers see this as entertainment but the 6 chair challenge is designed to screw around with peoples lives and dreams.

Please may ITV make this the last ever series thereby freeing up many hours of broadcasting time that can be used for anything else. 99.9% of stuff would be considerably better quality viewing.

Unfortunately ITV had committed to another three years of this glorified karaoke competition.

Maybe I'm hypocritical because I've not watched a full series in years (probably when Alexandra Burke won?!) but did view it tonight to see how Peyton fared.

However it's obvious they asked Louis Walsh to return for the "entertainment" factor. He knows it'd wind Simon and the viewers up sending through 'joke acts' to the Judges' Houses round.

That comment from the bloke in the audience ("they look like they're ready to be put in the oven!") not only made me laugh but just further reinforces how dire this drivel is.

A glimmer of hope is that ITV have the rights to The Voice UK, so hopefully the XF has only got another 3 series left.
