I know that racist comments are against the law. Therefore, Corrie had a good case and sacked him.
However, this thread is about William Roache's comments. My point was about his remark about victims of sex attacks deserving it. When Glenn Hoddle made offensive remarks about disabled people he was sacked from his job as England manager. When Chris Fountain rapped bout raping women he was sacked from Corrie.
Did Chris Fountain break the law? Did Glenn Hoddle break the law? Or was it just the offensive nature of their words which got them sacked?
If it was the latter, then Roache should also have been sacked.
