Sorry to ask a really obvious question but..

All the acts are on Xtra Factor now being interviewed... Surely they know by now if they are through at Judge's Houses...? Does this mean they have to act like they don't know...?

Bit awkward..

That's why I was thinking maybe they don't know and it will get revealed to them next week

I think it might be the same as last year. All the acts perform at JH and the 3 acts are picked live in studio??

No they all know but are contracted not to make it look awkward....then again if you knew who was through you might have just spotted a wee bit of awkwardness!

Yeah surely seeing as most of them are singers and not 'performers' some will find it easier than others to 'act' like they don't know!

Yeh makes it abit pointless to watch as we know they're having to act as half of them know they're already out.

Do they think we don't know or aren't bothered?

Or is it even more contrived than I thought... And do they film them being told both yes they're through and no they're going home?

They are not allowed to talk about it. I have no such constraints.


They know when filming is finished , and sometimes before.They suddenly have less rehearsal time and less eye/email/phone contact if not through , usually, and that is a huge clue that manifests between bootcamp and the day after 6 chair.They are officially told at house reveal. They are not filmed with two results, but sometimes they have to re-film bits of the segment where they are told.For those who place their everything on the lives, and are not that experienced,and have to re sit through bits of getting bad news, that has to be...just ugh.

Are we going to see them being told result at judges houses this year? Didn't like the way it was done last time.
