what did everyone think of eastenders this week?

Pretty dire for the most part especially the boring Sonia stuff.

Just wanted Shirley to find out about Kathy and slap her fake face.

Its getting better.

We just need some exciting stories though.

I enjoyed it, it was nice to get a slightly slower approach and some character-led conversations. Monday and Tuesday were particularly strong. It is suffering at the moment from a lot of storylines that are simply about characters leaving, and it desperately needs some long term, exciting storylines introduced in the next few weeks to set up the winter months, but overall I've liked the focus on decent writing over ridiculous storylining.

Monday and Tuesday were strong episodes very character led. I liked the touching scene with Christine and Pam. Sonia telling Shirley straight and Mas and Denise, especially Mas's reaction to Phil making Denise pregnant

Thursdays was boring, and Fridays was a bit better.
