Im interested to see what direction they take with this storyline. It could be that Nick is completely oblivious and doesn't realise that anything is wrong with Ellie and as far as he is concerned they both wanted to have sex. Alteratively he could be acting like nothing has happened to try and manipulate her into thinking that it is all in her head when he knows he took advantage.

Also, Joe and Mercy changed Lexi's name because they didn't want her named after Kim (or to use Lindsey's original choice of name, which happened to be in honour of her sister.) That's gotta feel like an extra rejection

Leela is 29 (as someone else pointed out), and Tegan is supposed to be the younger of the two. She was a final year student in June 2014 (when she and Blessing squabbled over who should be elected student union president) then she graduated in September and started working as a junior nurse. Depending on when her birthday is, she would now be 24-26 ... I think. Probably towards the higher end of that range since the show has always suggested that she and Leela are fairly close in age.

Don't have a problem with it. Faking a wedding to get money and falling in love for real just seems natural for the McQueens.

I can't help but feel they should have got a better character for this. Ellie is wrong character for this type of storyline I feel..but anyway.

If that's the point of the storyline, I'm not getting that. To me, they did cut away too soon and Friday's E4 and so we don't actually know what happened. For all we know, Nick could have stopped because he started to feel ill to and so only got as far as taking her knickers off. There isn't anything conclusive from what we have seen. Of course, Nick will pretend he didn't because he wants it to be known he can keep going but we don't KNOW that.

Saying all of that. I wouldn't be surprised if Ellie ended up pregnant after this as that seems to be Hollyoaks goto for anybody cheating so it wouldn't surprise me if they made her pregnant to help "prove" that he raped her. Also, is this storyline the only reason Nick was introduced? Will he be staying long-term or will he be gone as soon as all this is done? Because if that's the case, I feel it's a bit of a waste of a character and maybe they should have done it with a character already established? Rather than write one in for just one storyline.

Personally, I know this storyline is going to do my head in soon, Hollyoaks is good at stringing out storylines and this will just be another one.
