Could be worse, could have been the KandyMan.

As I have ignored that story and done my very best to forget it ever existed since its original broadcast, I have no idea who that is.

Stygorax that is, not Moffatt...

Oh wow! That would be great! Savage, brutal alien dogs. Perfect! This might be enough to get me watching again!

Thought the title was just a misspelling of Sycorax.

Never knew there was also an alien species called Stigorax.

I'd love top see the KandyMan return. Strangely, I could see him as a very weird and chilling villain if handled by the modern Doctor Who team.

I agree that the Kandyman is wonderfully sinister and arch. I bet he scared the kiddoes under the carpet, and probably still would freak out a 6yr old.

The return of Fifi would be very welcome in the Chuff household.

Love love love The Happiness Patrol! Happiness will prevail!

I think the BBC had to agree never to use the Kandyman again after it upset Bassetts.

I really like The Happiness Patrol.

Bassett is now in the hands of Mondelez (Kraft in other words! ) for the record.

Teletubbies were in Series 3. Briefly. Not a patch on The Clangers, IMHO.

It's not as bad as people made it out to be although when you've got Georgina Hale doing the least OTT acting in your cast you know you have a problem.

It's not even a criticism, but IMO most of the actors in THP are less OTT than Ms Hales!

I thought it was a deliberate focus on the heavy handed approach to enforce happiness within the theme of the story
