This has been driving me nuts for about 10 days, and Google has not been my friend.

In the 80s there was a shop I went to that was an almost exact rip-off of Benetton. The branch that I went to was near Oxford Circus, I think on Oxford Street itself, but possibly on Regent Street. It's name may have been a woman's name, possibly Italian-ish.

If this is ringing any bells with anyone, I will recognise the name when I see it.

All suggestions welcome.

This is driving me mad. I feel like I know that shop but I can't think of the name.

Was the clothing kind of a cross between Benetton and Naf Naf?

None of those. As I said, it was virtually identical to Benetton - mainly jumpers, folded into piles. I think it was a one-word name, maybe an Italian girl's name.

Was the name of the shop in gold, on a green background, and did it begin with a C?

Just hit me. There was a shop called Jumpers, gold on a green background. It sold shirts, t shirts, jackets, socks, et al.
