Now TV on Nexus 6P
Wasn't sure whether to put this here on online entertainment section . . . .
Basically i can't get Now TV to work on my Nexus 6P. I downloaded the software fine and was able to sign in - however whenever I start up a channel I get a 'Now TV has stopped working error'. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? My phone isn't rooted and I bought it in the UK (two of the reasons I read that Now TV might not work). It's runs fine on my Nexus 7 tablet. |

Not tried on my 6P, but is it one of the 4 allowed devices on your account? I'd assume it would give a better error message if this was the case though.

I haven't installed Now TV on my 6P as I've already got 4 devices registered, but I am pretty sure it works - but I can well believe it's a Nougat thing if you've recently updated?
Sky is notoriously slow at updating apps to work on new versions of Android, and new devices. I've had just as many problems with Sky Sports on Vodafone, where I could get 24 months of access for free - but have yet to find a phone that lets me authenticate properly. So I gave up. |

I've got apps that could be (and have been) downloaded, yet don't work.
It's a poor show on the part of developers, who had almost all year to get things working - as Google released the alpha and beta versions AGES ago. No excuses not to be ready if you're the likes of Sky, Vodafone, Lloyds and others. (Lloyds did release an update fairly soon after Nougat was officially released to its credit). |

Tried clearing the app cache and data, and turning it off and on again?

It's ok - I realized that the app wasn't compatible with the latest Android.
Was able to sign up to a Beta version though and that works fine. |
