Virgin now offering double data on 300MB, 1GB and 2GB, so 600MB/300 minutes for £6, 2GB/1500 minutes for £9, 4GB/2500 minutes for £12. All with unlimited texts, data rollover , and zero rated WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger usage. Tempting.

Don't get me wrong the rest of the deal is decent, but given the amount of data whatsapp and facebook messenger use, that's an extra you should really dismiss as not much of a benefit. A bit like a restaurant offering all you can eat for your pet hamster when you bring the family for a meal.

Gave VM a call, they are doing loyalty prices if you need more that 4GB. 5GB is £15 a month and 10GB is £18 a month, both with 2500 mins, unlimited text, free facebook and whatsapp, free VM to VM and rollover for unused data.
