Your favourite Hollyoaks storylines and/or stunts ever?
There has been so many episodes and storylines over the years. Which ones stand out for you as being gripping?
For me, I'll always remember the Toby Mills storyline when it was revealed as a serial killer, especially after attacking Steph Dean and she ended up with Epilepsy (was this remembered as the years went on?) Claire being with Max and isolating him from OB and making him think Tom was in a freezing cold lake after a heart attack and Max almost dying. This of course also led to the storyline of Max almost loosing Tom through the social services and then to the who dunnit with Claire being pushed off the Loft. I loved that whole storyline. Max dying on his wedding day, that was upsetting. Of course, that leading to the storyline with Niall and the holding the McQueens hostage. There is also the storyline with Hannah Ashworth and the whole anorexia storyline, that was powerful. One of my favourite stunts would be the bus crashing into Rhys' and Jackie's wedding, that was brilliantly done. |

The Sarah Barnes parachute stunt has to be up there. So shocking and memorable all these years later.

Hannah's Anorexia hands down, brilliant from beginning to end. The scene where she touches up Melissa's makeup was so sad and portrayed completely that anorexia was more than merely not eating.

The show has done so many really great storylines. I loved the fish tank experiment they did back in the day- also the underwater tank with Rob hawthorn. There was a hit and run with a character I think called Anna which was executed brilliantly too. Loved the hunters, loved the Ashworhs loved the Kanes. So many great families stories and stunts!

My favourite storyline was Brendan's whole story arc. I also loved the whole Max, OB, and Tom v Claire storyline, and I liked the John Paul and Craig storyline at the time, although since John Paul's return, I find it hard to remember why I liked him so much first time round.
I hate stunts. |

Agree with what has already been mentioned, Sarah parachute jump, Clare/Max sl. The Dog fire, Who pushed Clare, Fright night and the whole Silas sl. The sl with Niall Mcqueen. Malachy and Max's death were really sad. |

I haven't been watching HO for very long but I have seen some of the old stuff on YT.
I must say, I am gripped with James and his historic abuse plot. Compelling stuff! Jade and Alfies cancer story has been told beautifully and they're always a joy to watch. Of the older stuff that I have seen, I think John Paul and Craig were a great coming of age story. Brendan's arc was also epic, as was the character. Silas's murder spree was one of the better HO sensationalism type plots. |

Favourite storyline is either the Toby Mills serial killer or the Amy, Lee and Leane love triangle storylines.
Favourite stunt is the lift disaster involving Theresa and Warren. |

I think Hollyoaks do some of the best stunts in soap: the parachute jump was incredible, and the Roscoes on the bridge - HOW did they do that?
I also thought the Maddie/Esther bullying storyline was built up and executed amazingly well. |

My favourite ever stunt was the fire at the Dog, brilliantly executed, great drama and very sad scenes. Joes ringtone still sends a shiver down my spine. What ever happened to the muriel on the wall?
Favourite storyline ever was Hannahs anorexia, again it was very gripping, emotional and well acted, especially scenes between Hannah and Rhys. The original McQueens vs Niall was also great. They're still my favourite family but the original 7 were just amazing! In more modern times, the best stunt was the explosion at the council flat, I loved how we seen the pressure of the bomb blow everyone off their feet in to the walls and stuff. Best modern storyline has been Patricks abuse towards Maxine, Jeremy and Nikki had great chemistry IMO. |

Jade / Alfie storyline has been done so well and the performances have been lovely. I see them as this little beacon of light in a village filled with darkness and drama haha.

The date rape storyline had me hooked. Warren Brown is a fantastic actor and the over spill into the HO Later episodes was great. Sam Owen & Andy holt were a great pairing.
Stuntwise: the parachute was awesome, mainly because the aftermath got rid of awful Sarah and equally awful Lydia. More recently; the train crash was a good one; even with the whole Saint Carmel saga |
