Hi

Thinking about changing from Three due to poor coverage in the rural area where I live. I have occasional need for tethering and was wondering if EE offered this on its Sim only deals?

Thanks

Joolio

yes. tethering uses your standard allowance.

So do BT Mobile now, which may be cheaper if you have BT Broadband.

You can tether on EE PAYG too.

BT Mobile don't offer PAYG yet, and don't have any shops either.

The lack of shops isn't much of a hindrance though. BT seems to have made it quite self-service, there's a lot of stuff you can do through the website that you can't do with other network operators, like setting a spending cap or ordering a replacement SIM.

It's not that important but it's worth noting that BT Mobile does have a speed cap - 30Mbit IIRC, 60Mbit if you pay a bit more per month, which EE does not have. No VoLTE or wifi calling yet either.
