Last week was decent, mainly because of Tom Hanks.
Gemma Arterton and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were a little quiet, but it was still entertaining enough. As others have said, it went downhill when Mo Farah came on. There simply is not a sportsman on the planet who has anything interesting to say at all. And that's coming from a big sports fan. They talk in endless cliches and can't ad lib or improvise, so struggle with the typical banter between guests. Mo Farah, David Beckham, Tom Daley, Thierry Henry... they've all just been utterly boring guests. As for this week's show, I normally like Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as guests, because they're both quite confident and talkative. But, by God, did they really have to have that sanctimonious, mockney tool Jamie Oliver on too? I absolutely cannot stand the bloke! There's not a single thing about him that is not insufferable. Looking ahead to the remainder of the series, I can't believe they've got McAvoy and Fassbender on AGAIN in the last episode. This will be Fassbender's 4th appearance in 3½ years and McAvoy's 8th appearance in 5½ years. And they've also got a load of sportsmen on that week too. And Olympic cyclists and rowers, at that. What on earth could they possibly have to say that's of any real interest, or that we didn't hear repeatedly throughout the 24/7 Olympics coverage just a few months ago? All in all, this has been a pretty disappointing series as far as I'm concerned. Too many repeat guests and poor mixes of guests on certain weeks. There's hardly been an episode that I've fully enjoyed. |

Oh god, missed that McAvoy is on AGAIN.
Possibly the only person more annoying than Jennifer Lawrence. Still, it gets people like the Digital Spy staff to get a boner over Norton and use the 'card slapping against knee' gif. |

Norton does seem to have a bee in his bonnet about Farage and Trump.

Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence made the show entertaining, the most interesting thing about Jamie Oliver was the abuse he received for putting chorizo into paella. Part 2 with the spare guest never seems to work, especially with weird-but-dull Will.I.Am.
Next week's line-up looks more suited to The One Show. |

A gay man having a bee in his bonnet over a homophobe being one of the most powerful men in the world? Weird.
It goes well with the same complaints being made about the show, over and over again. But anyway, Norton has been doing the Trump and/or Farage "jokes" without fail for weeks, it's just become tedious and predictable. |

From what I saw of Trump in the run-up to the election his comments were far from homophobic, quite the reverse.

It always strikes me as odd that an interviewer never reacts when US celebs like Pratt make jokes about 'British cuisine'. Do they really think their country's burgers, hot dogs and giant steaks are some kind of sophisticated gustatory treat that we poor neanderthals can only dream of?
It looked like Lawrence and Pratt were more than just good friends, the way she was gazing at him. Will.i.am was a huge waste of time, and it was stupid to help promote not only an ITV show but an ITV show that was snatched from the BBC. |
