It always strikes me as odd that an interviewer never reacts when US celebs like Pratt make jokes about 'British cuisine'. Do they really think their country's burgers, hot dogs and giant steaks are some kind of sophisticated gustatory treat that we poor neanderthals can only dream of?

It looked like Lawrence and Pratt were more than just good friends, the way she was gazing at him.

Will.i.am was a huge waste of time, and it was stupid to help promote not only an ITV show but an ITV show that was snatched from the BBC.
gustatory - I learned a new word !

She was accused of the same thing when she was on with James McAvoy, just after he'd separated from his wife. Maybe she's just one of life's starers. Especially after a sherry or two, backstage.

Yeah, it pisses me off as well

He had Jamie Oliver next to him - why didn't he stick up for us?

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are great chat show guests, as far as I'm concerned. Always entertaining.

Despite how dismissive I was of Jamie Oliver before the show, he wasn't as insufferable as he can be. Much more relaxed (or drunk?), it seemed.

The best bit though was when Jennifer Lawrence groaned at the pretentious explanation of why he was called the Naked Chef in the early days. She just saw right through all that twaddle and didn't hold back in scoffing at it.

Will.i.am is just annoying. Pretentious people tend to be tedious and never quite on the same page as everybody else. It was the same when Johnny Depp came on last season and drained the show of all energy and fluidity.

So Jennifer Lawrence made a couple of quips in response to things Will.i.am said, like joking sarcastically that it was Fergie's fault the Black Eyed Peas broke up when Will.i.am mentioned that their break coincided with her getting pregnant, and they just seemed to go over his head, whereas other people would have been able to return the banter.

And, goodness me, that clip they showed of The Voice, with Tom Jones singing Great Balls of Fire and Will.i.am dancing like a goon and Jennifer Hudson geeing him on, was so contrived and painfully uncool. I had to mute it because it was too painful.

Anyway, that was one of the better episodes this season, which sadly isn't saying much, simply because of Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.

Chris Pratt. What a legend.

How lucky is Anna Faris?

Contrived, as you say. Now The Voice is on ITV they will plan and re-enact moments of drama just like they do on The XFactor.

J Law and Chris Pratt were bloody funny. Her Hunger games story was brilliant, she's a great storyteller

And the Voice wasn't on BBC? Every reality show is contrived including the Voice on the BBC and Strictly.

Love Jennifer beautiful and funny, also like Chris too, again very funny. Thought Jamie came across trying too hard to fit in with the cooler people, but the 3rd or 4th guest is always there just to fill the sofa.

From what I saw of Trump in the run-up to the election his comments were far from homophobic, quite the reverse.

But anyway, Norton has been doing the Trump and/or Farage "jokes" without fail for weeks, it's just become tedious and predictable.
Trump is pretty well known for his bigotry. I don't know what he was saying in the run-up, but it doesn't change the things he said before he was trying to get people on his side. The guy he chose as his "running mate" is also notoriously homophobic.

Trump is a political windcock, constantly changing his position depending on whether he thinks its to his advantage at the time, the idea that he isnt a homophobe (at least in private) is pretty laughable.

The constant smug liberal Trump/UKIP bashing is tiring from Norton. I'm surprised OFCOM aren't getting involved and reminding him about balance.

And, no, I don't support either politically, but give it a rest Graham. It's a Friday night and people want a light hearted opening and forget about politics.

You have to make allowances, rich Londoncentric media people have a different perspective on life. And comedians have to take the piss out of somebody or they would be short of material - plus, Trump, Corbyn and Johnson do make it rather easy for them.

This is probably really trivial, but it really irritates me at the beginning of the show when Graham Norton walks out and starts shrieking 'Oh! Oh! OH!! OH!! OHHHHH!!!!!' I don't know why, it just really annoys me!

The Trump jokes are the only good thing to come out of the election for many. You might not want to hear the jokes, but I don't mind them and I'm sure plenty of others don't.

I don't understand why 1 Trump joke by Graham every week is a big deal for some

When you factor in Farage it often turns into three jokes and it seems like most of his intro is used for attacking the pair of them.

Those creeps deserve to be ridiculed and attacked every second of every day.

The problem is that they are not attacked enough

We have balance in this country, for starters.

I think Norton does it because the show is quite popular in the States and he's copying what all the chat show hosts do over there (Trump bashing). Corden is exactly the same. Rinse, wash, repeat. Tedious.

There's tons going on in this country to write a light-hearted opening about.

I wish Jennifer was on every week. The booze bill would be substantial though.

I've never known why Graham does that. It is odd
