Except she didn't praise arranged marriages. She had one, and is very happy with her husband, but hated the wedding, and wouldn't arrange one for any of her children. She made a joke about not being bothered with the work, but she's previously said she thinks it's not right. She's now renewing her vows because she wants to make a point of it being their choice. Although I'm fairly sure she'd met her husband and got to agree to it, so it wasn't a forced marriage or anything.
It was Toksvig who made a joke about arranging marriages for her children, because she knows best. But it was a JOKE.
How on earth you interpreted that as her praising arranged marriages is beyond me, unless you had some pre-existing prejudice against her, and leaped to conclusions?

^^^^^ This really. Norton can give the impression of being all fluff, but he's always made biting comments. There is no obligation for British, or even Irish comedians to say nice things about American politicians. Not even when they are on the BBC.
