No forum members are "spreading their own obvious political agenda", they are debating Grayson Perry's language regarding men and whether constant Donald Trump openings is suitable for a Friday Night entertainment chat show.

Such topics could be avoided if Norton and Perry didn't open it up, themselves, for discussion.

I said I preferred this week's show to the previous week because I wasn't a fan of the political and social agendas of the previous week's guests.

I've been honest from the very start. It's just an opinion.

Nothing says 'establishment' and 'corporate machine' like North London living Graham Norton, on the BBC, slagging political leaders he/they don't like....

I like Graham and the show as a whole (even though its a shadow of its prime), but come on.

Yes for any Graham fans, squirreled away on 5 last night, was a really enjoyable bio of Graham. I'd forgotten how much he'd done and what a great all rounder he is, his early acting career with some great clips, including his Mother Teresa act on the comedy circuit. I didn't mind that it was 95 minutes - the whole thing just made me like him even more!

The sarcasm seems to have gone......WHOOOSH!

I enjoyed channel five programme last night, really liked his chat show on channel 4. Shame when he moved to BBC he had to tone his style down.

Graham talking about being 100% Irish in 2007, that was before he did WDYTYA - and found out that the Walker family came from Yorkshire. That must have dampened his spirits a bit.

I think the Friday night chat show was toned down before Jonathan Ross left. Jonathan famously overstepped the mark on a couple of occasions causing a backlash that made the Beeb management change their guidelines. Other shows became similarly sanitised.

I think Graham had one paternal great grandfather from Yorkshire......that wouldn't exactly dilute his sense of Irishness.

Maybe it did a little;

Also in his documentary, not sure if this is the first time it's been mentioned, but didn't know about Graham's awful attack; pretty sure he didn't write about it in his biography and sounds like he was lucky to survive. Yet he still recalled with humour. When things were pretty dire, and next of kin were being called for, hoping for reassurance he asked the nurse if he was going to die? Hesitating, she said - "umm............" Recalling the absurdity of it, Graham said - "I tell you what, let's go with NO...."

Why are the Nazis being brought into this?

There's plenty of people discussing politics on TV; Question Time, Andrew Marr, Peston, This Week, Weekly Wipe, Sky Paper Review, Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week etc.

The Graham Norton Show is an entertainment chat show, and should perform as one. Constantly mentioning Donald Trump, Nigel Farage and having guests promoting anti-male books doesn't quite fit into 'friday night entertainment'.

Donald Trump is going to provide 4 years of material for comedians so get used it and to be honest people like him deserve it. It is a chat show but Graham also does comedy, so it fits in with his show

These TV shows represent real politics, like Barbie represents real women.

Neither Trump or Farage are 'Nazis'. Get a grip. Ridiculous.

Apart from that it's incredibly tiring, unoriginal (much like the show itself), doesn't need to be mentioned every week and doesn't explain why people like Perry were allowed to promote such misandry on an entertainment show.

If that's supposed to be comedy, then Norton needs some new material, or just sack off the intro monologues and get to the interviews.

I think that was very tongue in cheek : reading the BBC description for the programme, it seems the Yorkshire Walker in question moved to Ireland in 1713, so it was many generations back.
