I’ve never heard the story before, but I did think there were too many things about it (as you’ve alluded to) to make it true. I don’t believe it.
I agree, it was as made up as Robbie Williams story about the cleaner....

Boring episode. Renner has the personality of a brick and O'Dowd was just annoying. Love Amy Adams but she was not on top form tonight (although she looked lovely in that dress!). I also dont buy the nice guy Niall routine. The "rumours" suggest he is quite the opposite in real life.

Tonight's episode features Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Jude Law, Catherine Tate and Kings of Leon.

The episode that will air in two weeks which was recorded earlier this week features Ben Affleck, David Attenborough, Matt Smith, Claire Foy and Sting.

I am wondering whether cruise will be on first or they will all be on together

He looks like he is morphing into Julian Clary to me!

Is it my imagination or does the woman next to Tom, look like a young Katie Holmes?

Yes, she does a bit.

I'm not a Tom Cruise fan particularly but pleased that he hasn't bothered botoxing his face. That must be a rarity nowadays.

But his scrotum is as smooth as a plumb

I've grown to like him more and more over the years and I admire the fact that he dedicates so much time to his fans. Many a premiere has been delayed because he's still outside on the red carpet.

Started well tonight but Catharine Tate ruined things by being irritating. All the other guests were fine though

Next week's show looks fantastic

I just think Graham spent too long talking to Cruise. I was pleading for him to move on to the other guests. Fair enough , it's Tom Cruise and everyone loves him, but he doesn't half go on.

I've never seen Brian Cranston in an interview. I'm looking forward to it.

Guest bookers need to start deleting Tate from their contact lists - She's just no good on chat shows or panel shows.

Agreed, but her anecdote wasn't obvious though. All the others were just shit.

F.U. Tom Cruise. You wouldn't even go along with a stupid little skit for the opener? You Xenu-fearing wank***.

That said, he's very good at ACTING humble and nice to people in person. Too bad he doesn't carry that forward into telling Scientology boss David Miscavage to go **** himself.

Of course, note his humble act doesn't go so far that he doesn't still get in brags about how he has a low heart rate and lots of elaboration on how he developed his "superpower" of not breathing (he did avoid saying Scientology helped him do that, but you know he WANTED to).

Is it my imagination or does the woman next to Tom, look like a young Katie Holmes?
Colbie Smulders is actually only barely younger than Katie Holmes (34 to Holmes' 37). So if she looks like a "young Katie" it must be good genetics I guess.

Chortle, never seen them in the same room anyway!

Can anyone who has watched the Jack Reacher films tell whether they are filmed with Cruise shown only from the waist up?

that was duller than dull .

and why do they insist on kissing Cruise's arse every time he's on .

the other 3 were a waste of space too .

I know, right? But it's Tom and he can do no wrong. Whole thing's just a big cover up and everyone just licks his arse

I actually thought Tom Cruise came over well and seemed genuinely interested in the other guests' stories and was a good sport doing the selfies with the audience.

...stuffing his face no doubt. Don't know about anyone else but I was literally cringeing. It was painful to watch
