It's not 1995, even Adele said that she makes nothing on albums but touring. Graham knew he was a ninny for asking Sting that. What year do you live in?

Nah, Sting was being a prick. Sting has been a prick his entire career.

Sting is a prick just by virtue of being Sting And I loved The Police in my youth. Him and Morrissey are so disappointing as people

Matt Smith looked totally bored when Affleck was talking. He was checking his nails and was distracted by other things. He wasn't even paying attention when he was asked when his show starts.

I wasn't aware Sting was touring, so to me it wasn't a stupid question. He does seem a bit up himself. When they announced he was appearing, I did wonder what mortgage needed paying!

You have to be a "luvvie" to slag off the DM and DT?

Just caught up with this episode. Didn't think it was great to be honest. I didn't think the couch gelled very well and what happened when Sting finished singing and was walking over to th couch? I heard Graham say to
Him something like ' it's just the red chair and then you are done.' ?!

Also, after Graham asked him if he still toured, and Sting chippily replied, "It's how I make a living!", Graham said, "Sorry to keep you!"

Thought Sting's song did sound very like I Can't Stand Losing You (as previously mentioned), and it's called, I Can't Stop Thinking About You.

Sting starting to look like his spitting image puppet.

For me, since the returns post-summer, JR has been more entertaining than GN.

Norton seems to have lost his magic. Not sure what it is. Whether it's because they've ditched the audience participation and 'internet' segments as well as ristricting the red chair stories, I don't know. Is it because they don't have the comedian at the end of the sofa anymore? It just seems off, regardless.

But Ross seems to be rediscovering his form, despite the lesser quality of guests.

The Norton show on Friday was boring. I like Affleck, but he's not that entertaining. The posh girl in the middle didn't offer much and Sting didn't look like he wanted to be there.

This weekend's couch features Rosamund Pike, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michael McIntyre and Coldplay.

The couches after Children In Need.
25 November : Tom Thanks, Gemma Arterton, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Mo Farah and Olly Murs.
2 December : Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Jamie Oliver and Emeli Sande.

Agreed, Graham should have known that Sting was touring. I found Sting a very good guest, Ben Affleck was a good laugh and don't normally find David Attenborough interesting but he was on good form

Man, this hasn't been a great series for me.

None of tonight's guests interest me, so I'm going to give it a miss. That's happened a few times this series.

But often when they have had somebody I'd like to watch on, like Bryan Cranston, they also have somebody I find utterly insufferable.

So when Cranston was on they also had that awful, smug creep Cumberbatch on the sofa.

Next week Tom Hanks and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are on, which could be interesting, but they also have Mo Farah who is bound to be intolerably dull (sportsmen always are); and then the week after that they've got Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, who are both good fun in interviews, but they've also got Jamie mother****ing Oliver on.

It's like they're going out of their way to choose a guest who is either totally insufferable or a Marmite personality every week.

The only episodes I've managed to watch properly this series were the Amy Adams / Jeremy Renner / Chris O'Dowd episode and the episode with Ewan McGregor and Sam Neill.

I'll definitely watch the next couple of episodes, after giving tonight a miss, but I hope they've now got to the end of their list of insufferable t*ssers to invite on for this series.

Mo Farah is boring like a lot of sportspeople are. Jamie Oliver told some unbelievably boring stories when he last appeared

Big fan of tonight's show though. Chris Martin is a good laugh while Michael McIntyre is always excellent

Christ! Andrew Lloyd Webber looks more like Lon Chaney in The Phantom Of The Opera, every day. Or a dying, unmasked Darth Vader.

I can't stand Coldplay but Chris is not bad on this. Rosamund too but Michael is as insufferable as ever.
