Always watch live, just enjoy it more that way.... so early supper........ bottle of wine .......and then it is not unheard of for a few chocs to be on hand, to keep my strength up for the two hour stint.

Vote straight away, then head for the spoiler thread to discuss, watch pandas and eat all kinds of virtual food, without a single calorie being added.

Only 4 contestants have potential for me this year so nipping to the loo or getting a drink is done when any of the others come on. Then vote online when it's finished. I record the show as well so I can watch it all back if I want to.

I would usually cook some bits but as I am currently kitchen-less I am trying to decide between takeaway pizza or curry or to pop to Marks for some Chinese food.
Each year the non-dance bits become more unappealing so plenty of room for breaks or if there is a wow dance like Danny&Oti last week there is time for a rewind on the sky+.
This year I will try to avoid looking at the spoilers.

I give thanks for relative youth and a strong bladder.

Chocolate is a good idea.

I think the top is wide open, first year no favourites, last year at this point I didn't like Jay, but he grew on me.

Small early dinner and everything all tidied up early, all drinks and nibbles put in living room, tablet off and left in other room .... the only programme I don't tweet and watch at the same time and if the phone ring's they can leave a message! If I need the loo it's a quick dash in a vt.

Oh and always watch wearing pj's bought new glittery one's for Strictly season

Turning off the tablet and these forums are a great idea, It always bemuses me when I read a post at 5 minutes into a show...saying I gave it five minutes! Do we have such limited attention spans? To fully enjoy it you have to go into lockdown, I am missing Poinless typing this!

Early tea, younger kids in PJs, curtains drawn, calls to voicemail, texts ignored unless they're Strictly related because I'll be posting on here which is far more important

Me and eldest daughter watching avidly, Mr Ochre pretending he's not bothered but he loves Strictly really, younger kids dancing round the living room, don't care if the house looks like a bomb's hit it there''s Sunday to tidy up before the results show

I tie the collie lead to the back bumper of the no. 13 bus when it stops by my house, so he doesn't jump on me in a particularly tense tango moment.
It's okay, the bus comes back again in 2 and a half hours.

It would appear her and Piers do not get on.

Eat early, settle down with a chilled wine and nibbles, if I need a break I go during VT's or when my least favs are dancing

Sounds like the perfect night in to me!
