She can't be, I haven't seen enough of that masculine dance partner of hers yet.
Yes, we need more Gorka!

To be quite honest, there are a few celebs who look really awkward in rehearsals. Now, they could pull it out of the bag on the night, but I think Len and Craig will have a field day this evening. About half the show belongs in a slapstick comedy show in my opinion, so I wonder whether the pros will also take a bashing, or whether that's what they've been asked to come up with. Some of the costumes look truly questionable, Tameka's especially.

Ugh, I hate it when they do that. It's the thumb on the scales crap that makes this show infuriating. I wish they'd stop trying to influence folk with costume, spin and palaver and just let it run according to the individual merit (or charm, or character) of the dancers

Yes, here here! I know it's a tv entertainment show but when I look back at each show I remember the truly beautiful costumes - Abbey Clancey had a few, Daisy Lowe had one last week - which enhance the dance rather than attract attention to the costumes (and perhaps, away from the technique). I'm singling out Ed Balls for a disaster of a costume tonight. The celebs are here to dance, primarily, and then to entertain via the dancing, I thought......

Exactly!

The Hippocratic oath thingy should be extended to Strictly costume.

'First, do no harm...'

she could e in trouble if and when she has to do a dance off. Do not think she is fit enough for that yet. But I like her- and she does put in a lot of effort.
Feel Lesley could be in trouble if she is in the dance off. Too much exertion for an older person- I know cos I am one.

I'm more worried about Lesley than Tameka tonight....

I doubt it, OP.

Gorka the Corker should survive...oh, and Tameka

I think the first dance off will be Melvin v Ed or Lesley.

She did really well !
OK, she made a bit of a boo-boo in the floor slide but in general it was fast and full of traditional Charleston moves and she maintained the energy level right through . Nearly collapsed in the Clauditorium right enough, but she was full on fun .

I think it depends how quickly her "personality" naffs off the non-soap watchers. This might take a couple of weeks.
I do not watch Eastenders...and she grates on me already.

Tameka is not my favourite, in fact in other posts I've hoped she would be first out, but she danced her socks off tonight and only for the 'problem' of getting up off the floor (Craig not me) I thought it was one of the best dances of the night. Put them dancing shoes on for next week Tameka

Her personality really grates on me and she kind of comes across as dim. I find the Charleston to be an extremely ugly dance so that didn't help. I did enjoy her acting in 'Beautiful Thing' though.

She should be OK this week.

It will probably be Melvin vs Naga...

Exactly Frank . She is loud and in yer face , but she takes that attitude to her dancing as well and really gives her all .It's not a facade, she just goes 100MPH at everything . I like that kind of commitment where the celeb doesn't give a crap about looking stupid or flashing their knickers . Ed has that attitude too . Not knicker flashing but you know what I mean

She irritated me from from day one. Also her dancing leaves a lot to be desired and she's a bit arrogant imho. She won't get my vote
