The paparazzi will always be around looking for a few choice moments, and then a whole story will be woven around them. Look at Jay and Aliona last year - they were apparently madly in love! These photos show nothing except Naga looking a bit p*ssed off, the reason could be anyone's guess. I hate all this speculation.

And as for DR's comments about some childless women being self-centred, what a ridiculously derisive thing to say in the context of this thread.

There appears to be some serious misogyny going down here. Ewwww.

The Sun:- Naga Munchetty and Pasha Kovalev caught having a tiff

I am not a big fan of either Naga or Pasha, but how on earth did the sun know they were having a tiff. I like watching both of them dance and wish them well...

From the pictures, my guess would be that the suitcase contains Naga's stuff. Pasha carries the suitcase. Naga says she will carry it. Pasha insists he will carry it.

No probs.

DR has been saying ridiculous things on this forum for years. I suspect he enjoys winding people up. I think it's best not to rise to the bait; maybe if we ignore him he'll go away. Don't feed the troll!

I sort of feel sorry for trolls . Its a little like a toddler who feels he needs to kick and scream and bawl to get attention .

For your information I play golf three times a week, (weather permitting, if it's raining I don't bother there's always another day).
Now a round of golf usually takes at least three and a half hours, sometimes longer if the course is busy. Then there's getting there, playing, showering and changing afterwards, possibly a meal and getting home, so you could be talking five hours altogether.

I think three times a week is enough for me, as it is for most of my friends. My wife says it gives her time to get some housework done..(Ooo! that'll upset somebody).

But the difference is I don't have to work for a living. Playing three times a week if you're working might be considered being obsessive.

Your turn now.

Good game this, isn't it?”

BIB: Indeed, eminently forgettable - whereas your boorishness marks you out.

I suspect the real problem here is that Naga is a BBC employee - very well paid, with enough time to play 5 rounds of golf a week. You cast aspersions on the BBC and all that it encompasses so frequently I'd suggest that if anyone around here has an obsession, it's you.

Either that or you're the Daily Mail miraculously made flesh. Quite a thought.

That's me out.

Well said. Also not every bloody woman wants kids whether they're married or not.

Oh I hear you! I did my dissertation on the role of women in sports journalism and when I first started covering Rugby League as a young journalist there was only me and one other woman doing it.
Thankfully the rest of the blokes covering the game were brilliant and really helpful and I fortunately never had a problem.

Not sure if related to this thread but Pasha was looking extremely moody during the eliminations.

I've always found him a bit "off" in a kind of unfriendly way but I've never seen him like this...

I always forget that she is even in the show ; with this cast of big personalities and contenders, this doesn't bode well for her. She seems to be lost in the shuffle.

You are (in my opinion and this is just a general observation) a stirrer. You feel superior to the people you "engage" with... And I use the word sparingly because actually there is no engagement, just you hurling insults from behind your keyboard, hero that you are.

Your comment about your "general observation" may be your opinion and quite aside from any challenges I have faced, I found that comment truly offensive in particular when I consider a set of close friends in one tragic situation,

I would try and explain it to you but in the conversations I have had with you in the past where you seemed utterly desperate to prove you have an interesting life, I just came away feeling actually a little sad for you that you felt you needed to impress some total stranger on a forum.

Right about now you will probably tell me that you have no interest in my life, but several DMs with a load of links showing who knows what about your musical interests (sorry I was far too busy to indulge your ego trip) suggests (to me anyway) otherwise.

To quote you... I think that says more about you than it does about anyone else.

Of course you won't actually care at all... The fact that you stirred up feelings of utter grief for a friend taken far too soon from us, will probably amuse you. You would probably find a way to justify yourself, which would, under the circumstances, be far too sickening.

But to quote someone else I would describe as driven "when they go low, we go high,"

Farewell Doghouse. A more apt forum name, there never was. I would love to say it was fun. Actually, no. I wouldn't.”

Hmm..

Can I point out that I made a slightly disparaging observation about "someone on the telly," who I suspect wouldn't know you from Adam. It wasn't about you or anyone else who contributes to this board. Then I get all this.
As far as "disparagement goes" it was pretty mild for DS. A lot worse things are said every day.
I would therefore suggest you avoid reading stuff that isn't directed at you, if it is going to cause you to consider such a reaction.

Try scrolling down, I find it so easy with so many posts.

I'll tell you now, if in the future I decide to make any sort of comment about someone on the TV which does not contravene the terms and conditions, I will do so, as do so many others.

I think they were both convinced they would be dancing again to survive.

I see from posts sent in today that that some posters are still not keeping to the title of the thread, For the sake of all our sanities can you think of the rest of us that are fed up with the bitterness between some of you. I'm not pointing a finger at anyone as you know who you are, but for goodness sake give it a rest. Some hurtful things have been said and people have been offended.
If you feel that bad about things either do it privately or take it to the Mods to get it sorted.
It's so much nicer when we all keep to the topic of the thread.
Sorry if you think I'm being nunky but it is awful to see all this angst going on.

I might add that when a person wakes extremely early for work and finishes early in the day they need something to occupy them in the lethargic lull that sets in or else they will just sleep. It's fine to sleep provided you do not have to get up as early the next day. If you do then you need to stay awake. I think that a round of golf in the afternoon every working day keep Naga healthy, energised and with a regular sleep pattern. Not to mention that she gets fresh air and exercise both of which are conducive to sleep. Whatever besets Naga dancing it is being unfit!

They didn't. Facts are not a requirement in tabloid journalism, only speculation which stays the right side of the libel laws (usually).

I've always liked her on the early morning news. But she's coming over as a bit cold on SCD. Maybe the training footage is being edited this way? Maybe it's the real Naga? Maybe she and Pasha just don't like each other? It happens sometimes

Ok fair point... I wasn't always bitter towards DR and had previously tolerated his observations both on forum and made privately, but a couple of those comments hit close to home at a time when friends were gathering in rememberence and I lowered my standards to react. Apologies to you and others if my own contributions to the thread upset your enjoyment of it.

I will leave the thread now...and will prefer to seek the online company of like minded souls who have a bit of fun and banter when SCD is on.

See some of you in the Spoiler thread this weekend for spinny chair Olympics and twiglets.

Thank you, I do understand how you feel. I've been in your shoes before. I've got upset before in the past with some posters and got to the point where I had to respond and it only ended up making me feel awful.as you say it came at a bad time. Try to take a break from it and don't sink as low as others who thrive on upsetting others.
Look forward to seeing you in another thread soon.

Good post . We all rise to the bait occasionally and it is upsetting . But those who try to get a rise from others must be somehow lonely or have a sad life I feel . Very occasionally I feel sort of sorry for WUMS.
But its best to ignore and leave the thread and enjoy the nicer ones

I have to say, I did rise to the bait, because of previous views expressed by the OP on women, children etc etc.

It does appear to be an annual event, so I should have known better, however:

Of course you are entitled to express an opinion on a forum, but as Mimi says it isn't edifying and is borderline legally actionable in another context.

The big question is why?

The bigger question is having decided to do so, why be surprised at responses? Or even claim victim hood for doing the same thing annually. Whats that saying about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome?

Lesson learnt by me, some people never change and remain the same as ever. Sadly and predictably so.

Time for me to deploy my annual response again, every year I start off with none to have got to week 3 with so few is a bit of a personal best for me.

We are all entitled to post opinions but we then have to accept that others are entitled to say they are rubbish. And others are entitled to say we don't like your opinion . See it works both ways
