Danny is a good dancer but I'd rather see someone who has some progression through the show win. I threw a few votes Gregs way tonight.

I'm calling it now - I think he's going to be the winner. He's a young, good looking male that females will fancy. Much like what happened Jay. Whilst Jay's jive was good, it wasn't IMO, as fantastic and amazing as everyone tried to make out. I think the week's theme and the music that built and built the way it did had a lot to do with it as well.

I noticed that Danny was put on last tonight. I wonder if that was deliberate?

I hope I'm wrong and that the series is going to be much more open this year, when it was plainly obvious that Jay was going to win last year. I think it's much more exciting and much better when it's not obvious who will win.

He is a really good dancer I don't care if he is a ringer I will continue to put all my votes to him because he needs them. At the moment Danny 2 win

Will he win absolutely not because of people saying he is a ringer, boring, cocky and arrogant.

Impossible I'm afraid, especially when they are as handsome, and can dance as well as Danny. That is when the "Ringah" and "conceited" accusations start.

I m just looking forward to watching him get even better every week. .

He looks too professional for the show. It spoils it when there is an obvious winner from day one.

Love him. Great dancer. Gets my vote!

He does look professional but I think this is a good year for him to be in Strictly because so many of them are good, any other year he would be the runaway winner but not this year.

He didn't .. and negative threads are still being made.

BIB Jay + Aliona had ups and downs, and while overall he was the better dancer, I didn't see it as obvious, however they DID win the loyalty of their fans, that's why they won.

I agree, if you want team Doti to stay, you need to vote for them. As yet he's not well known to many, nor does he have the large/loud personality.

It spoils it too when someone gets the "hot" vote. They can do no wrong. So predictable. It's like last year all over again (with Jay).

I don't think he's an obvious winner yet.

Also there is no telling who the public will go for. Will it be an improver like Greg or Ore or Claudia who are not performers. Don't get the Jay vibe yet although he is better looking then Jay.

I really think people overstate the likelihood of the public to go for the hot young men.

Irksome, isn't it?

He looks slightly spivvy, too - like he might have a car boot full of hooky smartphones or some such.

I,m at the "hot vote" maybe some vote like that but really I don't see Jay or Danny as hot, they both have my vote because they are good dancer's. My hot vote would be the lovely Greg.

And his bum.

He can win, but they'll need to find some absurd way to make a good-looking heavily trained young male celebrity look like an underdog. They've done it before, and Len giving him a 7 last week and the tabloids screaming THE WHOLE SERIES IS FIXED FOR DAISY TO WIN as a result is probably a neat preview if that's the route they want to go.

Peaking too soon, even Jay waited for week 3 People are fickle, they will see somebody else improving and they will turn away from him.

When I said it was obvious he was going to win, I meant because of his fans. I think a bit of it was due to him being young and good looking. Come the final night, he could have just stood on the dance floor and not danced a single step and he still would have won. Last series was such a shame because of that, and I really don't want this series to be the same with Danny.

Don't agree.
I love to see really special dancers on SCD ( like him, Jay and Kara ) from week one.
That's what I watch SCD for - amazing, moving, jawdropping dancing.

But I do think Mr Rinder has a good chance of lifting the trophy this year. Natural ability which can be improved + universal popularity could = ultimate success.

He is a good dancer and has polish and finesse but ... I find him bland and dull. Someone elsewhere described him as smug and he sometimes seems so, not always mind.

Danny has actually studied dance, and it's good that he's said it as no one can then accuse him of hiding it or pretending that he's a novice. The forum so far has been quite accepting of his dance experience (no obvious threads against it), which I'm glad of, as none of the past female celebs that got verbally trashed in the past deserved it, so why should he. So what if people can dance to some extent already, as long as they're not professional Latin/Ballroom dancers coming into the show, it doesn't matter. If people call this more an entertainment show than a Latin/Ballroom show then entertainment can come in forms of both already good dancers (of no Ballroom/Latin experience), as well as complete novices of no former experience other than school discos or weddings.

Danny imo is the most polished dancer, so far, then Louise after him. She seems like she's not done dancing (in her career) for a while so I think she's still refinding her mojo on that. Perhaps as the comp goes on (if she gets to stay weekly) then she'll get even better as she comes out.

Yeah I think he is the best dancer and hope he wins
