How could Len give Will Young 8 for that jive and then give 8 for far superior dances later in the show.
No sharp kicks and flicks, all done flat footed, what a joke.

Yep , I was very disappointed in Will tonight .
It was stompy and heavy and his timing was off a lot .
Will not dancing well aside , I thought the routine choreography very below par .

((whispers)) I quite enjoyed it. It was a jive as it would have been danced in clubs in the 50s, the era it was set in.

Leaving stage left now.

While I have no ill will towards her personally, I'm not a massive fan of Karen's choreography.

It always feels a bit one note. But subjective of course

The judges only use 2 or 3 paddles so theres bound to be cases of unfair marking that people get worked up about.

Bizarrely when Craig uses more than 2 or 3 paddles people get just as outraged. Go figure

Well...you better get used to Will and Daisy being constantly overmarked. They are the judge's pets this series.

He said exactly why he gave it the mark he gave it.

One of the best dances of the night - so much dross though to get through in week 2 I'd forgotten how long 2 hours can be. Will's dance wasn't much jive, but he was far better than most of the others. Only Daisy out of the girls can dance, and only Will, Danny and Robert out of the boys. The rest will be going one by one, as they usually do each year. Louise might get better but she's struggling, and very bland.

I thought it had a lot of content. Liked the choreography. Some really good bits of dancing from Will. In other parts he looked a bit like he was stepping it through. So a mix.

I couldn't agree more and some of the scores Len gave later were fair but they weren't fair in comparison to this.

It isn't Will's fault though.

This dance seems to have split people more or less 50/50 about it!

Oh you lot are just using any excuse for a crafty ciggy

Actually , on that point, two hours plus without a nicotine hit must be difficult for any smokers attending the live shows .

I also really enjoyed it, thinking back part of my enjoyment is because Will looked at ease and he enjoyed himself a bit like Ed.

Me neither I'm afraid. I really want to like Will's routines but he's just not doing it for me.

I was disappointed in Will's dance and thought it overscored. He can dance but I want to see celebs learning particular styles of dance rather than showing a lot of celebs who can already dance performing a series of show dances. Not really what the show should be about and not fair on the novices who have to try their hand at learning something completely new to them and taking themselves out of their comfort zone.

It was really laboured. How was that not Will's fault - he was the one dancing it?!
