I think that poster means that the scoring wasn't Will's fault .
Len can be weird in scoring .

Although the dance had ballroom jive elements a lot of it seemed to be more west coast swing in style as it was further into the ground, less up on the balls of the feet. Personally I like that style as it is more relaxed, but ballroom jive is sharper with more bounce.

In my view Len's score was too high and Craig's too harsh. 27 total was probably a fair total. His tango was definitely better.

I'm the opposite . I love watching the dance duffers like Ed and Melvin and Tameka grow in experience and dance confidence every week .
I can't be bothered with dance school trained ringers hogging the top of the scoreboard week after week .It seems unfair .
Danny, Louise and Ore are doing nothing for me because they are previously trained .

I agree with you, my original point was trying to say that having a celeb who can dance already should not be enough and this is not the show for simply showcasing good celeb dancers. Anyone bored with bad dancing is watching the wrong show.

I know the playing field is not even but it spoils the spirit of the show if good dancers can get away with not doing the proper dance steps because they put on a performance that is of a high level.
I like seeing the new dancers learn - when they do progress it makes for a much more interesting contest. I also like seeing those celebs who can already dance, but there has to be a journey there too.
I really hope Will's future dances show the dance technique and that like Ed and Naga he is also on a journey, even if he starting ability is a "bit" higher.

I really enjoyed it. It had a relaxed, happy vibe that made it a pleasure to watch, for me at least.

I was expecting a bit better but I still enjoyed it - Craig's 5 was the ridiculous score I thought. No way that dance was comparable to Melvin!

The judges pet is clearly Daisy this year IMO, and possibly Greg who is enthusiastic but not a natural dancer.

I though Len did overmark but I also felt that Craig undermarked. So it kind of balanced itself out.

Poor Jive - but it could have been caused by the fact that Will's trousers just about stayed up to the end of the routine...tut tut War Drobe!!!

Thought it was alright, but not an improvement on his first week - I suspect that is how it is going to be with Will this series, he'll have his moments but ultimately other folk are going to move into higher gears.

So Len thinks Will's jive tonight was only one point short of Jay's pulp Fiction jive last year ?

There were some weird marks tonight. I thought Craig was being even more unusally harsh than normal (although I'd have only given Will a 6 tonight), and wondered if Len overmarked on purpose.

It was clearly neither. Will should probably have done better with this but at the same time it wasn't awful.

It was OK. I can't remember what score it got. I would say it deserved to be in the middle/lower middle of the leader board. I found his arms/hands an it distracting, and not in a good way.

I agree with the above, I personally don't 'get' the Daisy love, as sorry as I was to hear about her granddad last week, this isn't the X Factor so please no more sad stories, and I do feel that some of the high marks were more to do with that than her dance, just my opinion.

This week all I saw was her strutting and posing, not so much in the way of dance.

I think Will is an adequate dancer, but he seems like he's embracing the enjoyment of the Strictly experience rather than the competitive element of it. He doesn't seem driven to put in the effort to absolutely nail the techniques - his posture has been poor for both dances so far, and his jive could have been very good if he'd sharpened up the flicks and kicks, but they were a bit half-hearted. Not Peter Andre levels of lacklustre, but just a bit ... meh!

I'm a little surprised, because it doesn't match his usual perfectionist attitude, but at the same time not surprised because I don't think he's been gifted with a natural pair of dancing feet - I just thought he would work, work, work to perfect the details of the dance techniques.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of the injury comment - when or where it had happened (during the dance or at the end?) or even at all ... who knows, he deadpans so much you don't know when he's being serious! And he seemed to skip up the stairs to the Clauditorium ok?

And he had the wrong shoes on! No wonder his flicks and kicks weren't 100%.
