Naga & Pasha remind me of...

Sunetra & Brendan.

It is almost painful to watch them badly acting out a cordial partnership when it so clearly isn't.

Love Naga but somebody make it stop - she needs to go as she clearly is not enjoying herself.

Sunetra and Brendan at least looked as though they were having fun.

It will have been the BBC's idea to include her. It will have been suggested to her it would raise her profile. Other BBC employees have been "ushered down the same route in the past."

Sunny was lovely though... it's the same but almost the other way around.

Sunny was joyous and Brendan was grumpy.
Pasha is Pashaaah and Naga is -->😐

remind me of... the last two left when everyone else has picked their dance partners.

Is it a temperament thing? I wonder if she'd have been happier with a dancer with a different mindset? In a way she reminds me of Anita. She's quite categorical. Gleb (in that wonderful and sometimes hard to watch combative relationship) was able to channel Anita's edginess. Pasha in the past has always been partnered with women who need to be given confidence (in their very different ways). Maybe he's too *kind* for a determined character???? Maybe Naga would prefer to be challenged more???

I though Darcey making a pointed remark for Naga to start listening to Pasha was rather telling.

Naga comes across as quite a serious-minded lady.

That said, I think she is enjoying herself but I think she has natural reserve.

If there is any truth in the newspaper story at all, so what? Contestants and pro dancers are together for hours each day (some of the contestants - Naga included - holding down a day job at the same time). Is it any surprise that there is friction from time to time? It doesn't mean that they are at all out war with each other.

If it isn't one thing, it's the other. No doubt some reporter will spot them laughing during a tea break. Then there will be suggestions of an affair, of course. The gutter press did not get its nickname from nowhere. It is where its brain is to be found.

For what it is worth, I think that Naga has a lot of potential, but lacks confidence in her ability. She looks self-conscious. Whether Pasha can instil that confidence remains to be seen.

Maybe Sunetra doesn't like his jokes.
