He was never the biggest of guys but he just doesn't look himself (in a physical way) this year...

As someone who spends a lot of time looking at Aljaz...
I think he looks pretty much the same as the year he danced with Alison. He was perhaps a little bit more filled out last year but not massively so (which you can tell from the mummy costume from Halloween). |

If he has lost weight, it's all gone to... one particular area. Usually depending on the colour of his trousers.

He looks thinner to me, too. (Though it could be just in comparison to Daisy, who's so tall that she overpowers him a bit.)
It suits him for the ballroom/Fred Astaire-type dances, but I find him a bit too feminine in the Latin dances. |

This......think Daisy appears to dwarf him. She isn't huge at all but makes Aljaz look tiny

Maybe Janette's cooking is just like her choreographies. Also Daisy is very tall.

When watching him in the pro dances, he looks the same as ever.
I think it's when he is with Daisy that he looks smaller - she is bigger than him and it makes him look small. And before anyone jumps all over my post. I do NOT mean that in an unkind way towards Daisy. She has a fabulous figure and looks gorgeous and very much in proportion. |
