Regarding the female pros: I really like Oti, Natalie and Katya. I think Katya has been excellent and is a very good addition to the show. She is bringing out the full potential of Ed's dancing.

Regarding the male pros: Of the new male pros I really like Gorka. He did well choreographing a Charleston routine that suits Tameka's personality. Aljaz is good though, I do agree with others about the gaping issues, which he doesn't seem to pick up on unless the judges draw his attention to it. Kevin is also a good dancer and choreographer.

The worst for me is Janette. Though, in fairness she got into dancing very late compared to the others. The problem with her is that she relies too much on the 'having fun' and 'performance' side rather than teaching technique. It causes her celebs to stagnate and not improve, which is very noticeable as the competition continues and you see the improvement other celebs have made.

It was especially noticeable with her celebs partners Jake and Peter. Neither seemed to improve at all.

I recalled last season watching ITT on a Friday which featured Louis Smith on the Friday panel. They showed him training footage of Peter and Janette's jive and he remarked that Peter's kicks and flicks were not being executed correctly. He went on to demonstrate how they should be done. This is something that Janette, as the pro, should have picked up on and corrected. The comments he made were echoed by the judges the next day.

I'm another who is loving Katya!

I was surprised at the amount of content in their Charleston, instead of throwing in a ton of comedic moves it seems like she's really pushing Ed to prove people wrong and believes in his ability to deliver a good performance. She seems wonderfully supportive when they're together

the charlestons are normally choreographed by charleston professionals and not the pro partners think it is still Jenny Thomas (she does salsa when needed too) judging by twitter comments between Katya and her she did Ed's Charleston last night

I always felt sorry for anybody who got Artem, his nasty side was always bubbling under the surface. And you don't want to be on the wrong side of Brendan.

Also, if the papers are to be believed, Ola could be unpleasant.

Of course, that doesn't mean any of them were bad teachers.

Not forgetting a certain Mr Jordan who also came across as being a bit of a bully towards some of his students.

I am impressed with the two new female pros Katya and Oksana, especially Katya with a complete novice. Jennette never seems to do her partners justice
