Anyone tried Olaplex?
Hi all
I don't colour my hair anymore as I am embracing the grey, but it means it feels quite dry and as the grey is coarser, it can look a bit frizzy. I have been looking into Olaplex as a treatment and wondered if anyone had any experience of it. I know it is meant for people with hair damaged due to colouring, but the effects of the treatment are what I am hoping for with mine. Any one tried it? |

Yes it is excellent. I've only done it home though not at a hairdresser. I would only recommend it for someone who chemically processes their hair as it's very expensive and there are much cheaper products you can buy for dry hair. Olaplaex is about strengthening and repairing the bonds that have been damaged in processed hair. So it's not just about colouring, anyone who regularly uses hot tools by definition has damaged hair so it's for those groups also.
If you want to try it I wouldn't buy the kit, go to a hairdresser and try it as it will likely be slightly cheaper. |

I have - very long, semi permanently coloured hair....excellent results which have lasted 3 weeks.
Would definitely recommend it. I had it applied at the hair salon. |
