Where does he go from here ? She can't wander around wafting her arms very very gently at waist height while he dodges back and forth doing dancer things .
It's truly bizarre in a competition to be so restricted in virtually every basic movement .
So yeah , I do feel for him .
Have a meeting with Oti.
Get tips on how to choreograph a one armed jive.
Sit back and wait for the Ringer next year
You beat me to it Aggs

I do feel sorry for Brendan (unusually) - what on earth can he choreograph for someone who essentially is unable to dance but does not want to withdraw?.
This is Strictly. Anne Widdecomb, John Sargent, the Gurner etc. You can win with that with a bit of imagination.

They've had a hard week but if they react well it will all be forgotten.

So what were their existing injuries/scars that could have been worsened by moving their shoulders? Do tell.

Oh Penelope REALLY. I feel I must pull you up. I think you will find Fiona Philips had in fact 6 left feet to cover all the directions of the compass. Very remiss of you not to credit the lady with the many facets of her inability.
She did. And she pattered along on all of them like a p*ssed up centipede in hobnail boots.

I hate to say this but she should have been eliminated; I am only thinking about her well being; how is she going to proceed like this ? Dancing is a very physical sport; Even if Brendan does a lot of modifications ( which I am already sure he has ) , it is still not going to be enough. Instead of enjoying her performances; I and I am sure a lot of people would be worried about her dancing.
I hope also for her own sake she doesn't continue . If she was to perform next sat. I and I'm sure most of the viewers would be on tenterhooks hoping she's going to be ok, which isn't the best scenario for an entertainment show .

I'm sure we all admire her tremendous courage for taking part but it seems SCD was a step too far and for her health's sake I hope she resigns .

Yet Oti was expected to do this last year.
Antony had a temporary injury though and was hoping to be fully functional within a short time (had he stayed in). He didn't refuse to dance in his dance off even though he was an irritating moaning minnie .
Even one armed he was still more suitable to be fitted into a routine of some kind than someone who has issues with both arms or stretching in any way .
It cannot work. That's the bottom line .

Claire King had serious rheumatoid arthritis in Series 4. She talks about it here. She was on painkillers the entire time, and it restricted her movement in most of her routines. Maybe Brendan could draw on whatever he did for her.
