I think Janette and Melvin will be very gracious about the whole thing and make it easy for her.

A last irony. I had never heard of Melvin O'Doom ten days ago. Now I'm fighting his corner! Was he ever this popular?

Maybe Len will be wheeled in to explain the rules?

(aka making it up as they go along to retain the bigger name in the competition and generate heat on social media)

Maybe they'll get len on to do a 'serious statement' like post Peter Andre and Jamelia last year...

She will be fine, she has a great job she is paid well for.

Anyway the controversy probably makes for a more interesting show.

"The rules is," you make desperate attempts to keep a high profile "name" in.

Well at least for a few more weeks.

Either way you try to get some positive spin on the situation.

I think she will welcome this as a distraction from her media presence over the last week or so.

Why would I feel sorry for Zoe? It's not like she's been slaving in the copper mines of Cornwall...oh wait! (too much Poldark.)

Hasn't caused her any issues in the past when she's had to plaster over stuff like this. Her amazingly bright and likeable personality will be turned up to 100%, her smile will dazzle and she'll breeze past any question that even sniffs of controversy or simply not ask it at all. I don't think Len will appear, not yet. If this drags on another week as the Jamelia/Andre mess did then they might wheel him out. He probably doesn't give a toss though as its his last series, lol.

If there had been no mention of Anastasia's injury before hand I think I might have agreed with you.

The fact that it was mentioned that she'd had to make changes to her routine etc. etc. - I'm inclined to believe it. I would have thought going with the public vote was the only logical way out of the situation.

I agree, Zoe is a professional presenter and will do her job as always.

Me too! I think he was the worst dancer, but don't like how he was eliminated. I am British - sense of fair play and all that.

Apparently it took ages on Saturday night to come to a decision as to what to do. So I don't think the rules were cut and dried at all, and they made this decision to suit themselves.

It will be glossed over like usual when something controversial happens. Everybody will be happy, move along nothing to see here.

Just keep up the lie that there was a rule in place when we all know there wasn't.

Not only is it highly unlikely they would even think of the scenario of one of the dance off contestants being injured and not being able to do the dance off, if there were such a rule why exactly did it take so long on Saturday night to come up with the result?

There was no time needed for the dance off so the result would have been pretty quick but it wasn't.
