It's Matt and Emily. They're being shoved down our throats. It will backfire though as the public will get fed up of them being pushed on us. It's happened in the past with acts like Tamera and Cher.

I mean that DW said that Matt Terry is living with the girl who dumped him and thereby gave him a sob story. Whether the dumping/heartbreak really happened and they have now reconciled or whether it never really happened is anyone's guess.

Matt Terry is whom they want to win, but it's The Brooks that have the long-term investment.

One thing i will say and i believe most have overlooked is that this series more than any other I believe Cowell has his eye firmly fixed on the US market which is much more lucrative but also very different to the UK one.

With that in mind i wonder if Gifty is the one?

The odd thing is that I don't see any of the contestants fit into that role. Those guys are usually 25-30 with a bit of gruff. The current crop look a bit wet behind the vocal cords.

Maybe the guy with first name-itis, as he has a more matured voice than the others, but I don't see him capturing the vote.

They'll have to ramp him up more than they did with Arthur James, but they don't have Max Clifford's link to the newspapers to create the anti-Maloney "vote for James" campaign.

Seems too obvious though so I'm not sure if he will *actually* win.

What I don't get is why they brought the Wildcards in.

The Overs were strong and they had the chance to bring back Honey G anyway. They brought back Saara after she was booed in SCC, Relly was hardly shown, On previous series I thought the other four would be the faves with one losing out.
The Girls - Sam may be the reason for it
The Boys - Is the fact Ryan has been brought back after hardly being shown to make Matt more popular. Freddy seemed a weird choice any way

I don't think it's Matt - it could be Gifty - the way she's been edited her screen time etc - but not 100% committed to that also feel 5am could be the chosen ones during lives - it could change at anytime - it will become clearer as the weeks go by
