I've actually started watching it a couple of times but it didn't appeal to me.

Darn it. - sorry for spoiling a bit of it then if you ever do watch it all. But as you haven't my marvellous linkage has fallen flat.

Would they go down the path of having Mekhi Phifer's character (Frank's partner/Raimy's boss) being the Nightingale I wonder?

Bit of a cliche to have the hero's boss/partner be the bad guy but there was just something in the latest episode that made me wonder.

The way he sent Frank away and how the Nightingale got into the apartment despite the Police keeping an eye on it. A lot easier if you know exactly where the Police are watching from.


Of course there was an earlier scene of Raimy's mother in a lift at the same time as the supposed Nightingale which should rule him out as she would obviously have known him.

Plus if it was him what would have been the reason for the killings to stop in the original timeline as he was alive and well in 2016 in that.

I think the nightingale has his own radio and access to police files, the fact that the black woman, Angela or Amanda, was killed very soon after the change showed points to him being aware of the changes. It will be interesting to see who it is.

I wonder if the guy in prison is really a fruit-loop. Seems a strange coincidence.

That seems to have gone nowhere. Anyway, good to see the show back after the Christmas break.

All I can think is that he gave Raimy the idea of "cutting off at the trunk", but I'm not sure it makes sense since Raimy's mother wasn't murdered in the original timeline - or had the Nightingale killer already been "cut off at the trunk" in that timeline? (I realise we don't have the answer to that.)
