We have just learnt that Danny & Oti will be dancing the Paso Doble in Week 3.

My question is, as current top male, will he emulate Jay and achieve (at the same stage) the first 10(s) of this series?

The fact that we've only seen one 9 so far means there'll probably be no 10s next week. And thank goodness for that!

Though I won't put it past Darcy to get overexcited and give one...

What exactly do Danny and Jay have in common that makes people compare them so often? I certainly don't see anyone repeating the Jay Jive moment for a good few series.

The paso is such a difficult dance to get right, let alone perfect. So I doubt it very much. And I'm not sure what this week three business is about, I'm sure he'll get all 10s at some point in the competition.

Does it matter if it's week 3?

I predict he'll get a 10 from Bruno.

Hopefully no 10s for anyone in Week 3, too early.

Getting attractive young men on the show with dance talent and [*lots of/some/used to go to Ceroc once a week down the Legion] dance experience on the show is rarer than it is for the distaff side of things; comparisons the year after a man-win is kind of inevitable.

Male for male nobody could touch Jay last year and, though early days, Danny is very much the standout this year. Both had former training so as close to a comparison as you can get. This is only about dance ability and nothing to do with personality.

It doesn't matter...but only two contestants have ever achieved this feat in Week 3 - Louisa Lytton & Jay. This questions whether Danny can be the second male to achieve it

I predict he'll get a 10 from Bruno.
He has been responsible for both of the above-mentioned.

I hope not, too early. I just watched their interview with Zoe and worried about Oti
pinching and hitting Danny for getting it wrong. Surely there are better ways to teach someone.

It would be worth considering that loads of people were convinced that Ashley Taylor Dawson was going to win series 11 in a landslide. Absolutely loads.

Also Thom Evans although he didn't show much dance talent. Mostly in recent years the women get the votes.

OP used to create a thread or poll or seven about Jay every week last series, I guess why stop now, other than that's he's not on the show anymore of course...

I'm sure he'll get 10s at some point but not in week 3.

I said that it was rarer- not that it was unheard of.

I hope not. Jay's jive set up so many high expectations for him that he didn't always end up achieving.
I would rather see Danny continue to dance well and give it his all every week like he has been doing ; save the WOW OMG moment for the quarter, semi or the finals. Yes I know you can't always predict this stuff but getting 10s at the moment won't benefit him, especially given the fact that some people seem dead cert on not liking him because he's a " ringer "

If there's any 10s being handed out this early it's going to be for Daisy, I think the judges are a little bit smitten, cos she can't dance that well.
