At the moment, Tesco have got an offer for Jordans Country Crisp. £1.34 for a 500g box. It's a great cereal, so worth buying some.

Quaker Oats mixed with sliced banana and hot water. Topped with blueberries and cinnamon if I have it. Omelette later if I'm not in a rush.

Cereal, coffee and a fist full of pills to keep this retired teacher's blood pressure under control.

Granary toast topped with smooth peanut butter and marmite (i hear cries of eurgh)!!
Bran Flakes with semi-skimmed milk and a chopped banana, a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of tea with milk. That sees me through til about one-ish. |

My maintenance meal plan is 'double breakfast' still - a cup of cereal (usually Cornflakes) with 150ml milk and fruit (usually raisins), plus 2x toast with spread (peanut butter or jam).
I don't really stick to my meal plan anymore so no breakfast usually, but if I do, I tend to just have the cereal. Breakfast is easily my favourite meal of the day.

Any cheap supermarket wheat biscuits (I prefer them to Weetabix). Aldi's do the job nicely, topped with a tablespoon of their Milled Linseed with goji berries, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and a sliced banana.

I almost always have toast and coffee.
Breakfast food is funny when you think about it - meat includes sausages and bacon but not much else. Fish is smoked. And vegetables, apart from mushrooms and tomatoes, are almost non-existent. Carbs are the mainstay, with fruit as a relatively (last 20 years or so) recent addition. I know you can eat whatever you want for breakfast, but accepted breakfast dishes tend not to stray too far from the above. |

I only go for hot yellow sauce (English mustard), which is classed as no sauce at all. |

Red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all?
I only go for hot yellow sauce (English mustard), which is classed as no sauce at all. I love a good fry up but couldn't eat one first thing in the morning. The hour has to be in double digits. |

(who actually calls in "red sauce"?) .
