That's no way to talk about Joanne.
![]() I don't have a lot of problems with Ore either if I'm honest, we'll have to see how their dancing progresses!! |

It's a shame they didn't give him Phantom of the Opera for movie week.
I'd like to see his body do the dancing rather than his face. If he could just dial it down to 11 out of 10, and stop gurning, he'd be quite acceptable Now, I think I want to see that

Danny is streets ahead of the others, in terms of ability, but if Pixie could go home before the final, Danny could.

Gut feeling. One of Danny or Louise is going to win. Probably Danny because he is a good looking boy and women will vote for him Also, people might find Louise too bland and won't vote for her so much even if she turns out to best the best technical dancer.
Danny Daisy Louise Would like Aljaz and Daisy to win (or Nat & Greg...but can't see it)........but I think Danny has the teen vote. |

ETA: Re OP, I think the field is lot more open than just Danny and Louise, at least at this point. |

I'd like to see that! Judgey as the Phantom is something I actually need to see!
In a year of celebs with strong dancing skills, there will be some other major factors which will determine the winner. The partnership and understanding between the celeb and the pro is one. The ability of the pro/team around the pro to choreograph a watchable, likeable routine with enough of the "wow" factor is another. A third is the run of consistency from Blackpool onwards to keep delivering technically good dances week in, week out, whatever the style. I'd say that it's still wide open at the moment. |

Reserve judgement on Judge Rinder until he has done one of the technical dances a good waltz or foxtrot up to now we are seeing the fun stuff

I wonder who would be saved in a Danny/Louise dance off? |

I was thinking that Danny would be safe until the final, because even if he was in the dance off the judges would save him, but I had forgotten about Pixie.

Pixie was sent home because she did a poor ccc and the other one in the DO - Simon - did an excellent ballroom dance. Good dance beat weak one that's all that was. If Danny ends up in the B2 with a dance he doesn't do well, and he is in the DO with someone who does a much better dance, then yes, he will be voted out. Simples....... |

I'm more than happy with someone looking as if they are having a fun time (Ed Balls with his Charleston, for example) I'm not so happy with someone who looks as if they are really just taking the mickey - and to me that is Rinder. He needs to calm down and stop trying to imitate a 2 year old having a tantrum! |

Not sure about Judge Rinder, first dance was great ... bit wild but thoroughly entertaining. The second dance was less good and not so entertaining but this week will be the third week in a row where he has a dance he can ham up. What's going to happen when he gets the waltz or rumba etc? I think he may have peaked too soon. Also, he's not that entertaining when he's on ITT etc so I'm not sure he's the whole package. I think his particular novelty could wear off.
Danny and Louise are definitely getting to the final (unless they ever have to dance off against each other ... which I doubt) whether they have strong enough personalities to win remains to be seen. There's lots of others who could well be contenders. It's wide open really. The only people I think won't win are Naga, Anastacia, Ed and Lesley ... also Tameka. And maybe Ore if Jo doesn't step up the choreography .. she's not doing him justice. IMO. |

Louise could make the final with Kevin working with her.
Danny I'm not so sure he hasn't been tested yet. It's still too early to start saying who's going to win it, unless of course you want to have a temper tantrum when one of your favourites gets the push. I've watched every season of Strictly avidly and only once did I get right this early, with Mark Ramprakash, cos he was paired with Karen Hardy. Oh and I said an all girl final in 2013 in week 1. I've sussed the winner a little later but rarely this early. |

Yes ... we need to get halfway to really get a decent idea although I knew week two last year ... that is I suspected Jay would win after his waltz. Beautifully graceful and endearing as anything. Great partnership too. I wanted to put money on him but procrastinated too much and then the Holy Jive took place and his odds shortened
![]() This year I've not got that feeling about anyone. It's like Caroline's year ... she didn't really become a contender until late on .. was in a dance off earlier. She turned it around at Blackpool and that's about when we'll see who the contenders are this year I think. |

Yeah, at the moment it surely looks like Danny and Louise are the main contenders.
I do hope Will is pacing himself and will come out all guns blazing halfway through the competition. Wish he was partnered with somebody a bit more edgy and less mainstream and safe. (Alionaaaaa!! Please come back!!!) I have a bad girl crush on Daisy, so hope she will up her game, too. Her waltz was lovely, but the chacha a bit disappointing. |

I'm enjoying this years show more than others because I am not particularly invested in anyone. I have a liking for Will, Rinder and Anastacia but that is just personality wise.
And for once there is no one I actively dislike! That said I don't think Danny will win it. Louise possibly but there is such a long way to go yet. |

I don't care who wins as long as it is not TTF.
