EE cancelled contract still asking for monthly payments
Hi,
My sister took out a contract with EE through Carphone Warehouse, but cancelled it the next day as she was offered a better deal elsewhere. Anyway she went to Carphone Warehouse and returned it. She received a refund for the upfront cost she paid, and then a letter saying the cancellation had gone through. EE also sent her a cheque for the first payment she took out. The problem is that she has just received a letter stating that she has an overdue balance, and if she does not pay this amount her account will be passed onto the debt collection agency, and affect her credit rating. She has tried to get into contact with EE through phone but you have to have a mobile number with EE to get through. She has also tried live chat but does not have an account. Anybody have any experiences of this situation and what would be the best way in resolving this issue? |

There is an 0800 number here
http://ee.co.uk/help/accounts-billin...within-14-days you could try. The one ending 0103 seems to be for mobile contracts. It would help if you have a note of the old EE account number, might be on the letters you have. |
