If that makes me over sensitive then guilty as charged, but asking around work colleagues and pals there are a lot of us sensitive little flowers out here who just want a simple "Yes she will dance and all is well" or "Unfortunately Anastacia will not be dancing " .”

It's not cancer treatment though - it's treatment for a soft tissue injury sustained on the show that led to the biggest talking point since the last one.

I imagine it will be something along the lines of a picture of the bottom 2 fading to sepia while Tess does a mournful voiced recap and the music thunderclaps behind dramatically. Plinky plonk music of sadness as Anastasia and Brendan are shown going to see the Specialist which swells in to plinky plonk music optimism as Specialist explains scan pictures, gives diagnosis and instructions and cuts to about 5 seconds of back in the training room.

Yes, sometimes a memory is both a blessing and a curse.

I think they will have filmed the medical assessment so the viewer can see the extent of the injury and that she'll be ok

I agree with you edy. The op has expressed a view and has given some explanation of how her own personal circumstances influence that opinion (which sadly most posters have either ignored or dismissed as unimportant; I think only DeltaBlues tried to respond properly). Other people may strongly disagree but insulting others and calling them vile or trolls is unacceptable in my view.

As long as I remember the OP has picked one woman (and it's always a woman)every series, and posted ever more grandiose spite and bile about them until they get a significant reaction, at which point they double down and hit turbo, posting numerous threads slagging them off and forcing their opinion of that woman into any number of threads, often when it's completely irrelevant to the thread topic. Sorry, but in my estimation they're a troll, and one with a misogynistic gimmick, which makes it fair game to call them vile.

The BBC have become a little unstuck here by pretending the results show is done on a Sunday as if it were, given 24 hours recovery time Anastacia would probably be able to dance in a dance off.

Living with disabilities myself, I actually find your posts discriminatory and offensive.”

Really interesting point, thank you.

Makes more sense than "bbc had to choose Anastacia cos she's a big American diva"

I have every sympathy with Anastacia. It could have been just a case of being afraid to damage herself further if she performed in the dance off. You could see she was visibly upset when Melvin went out. I returned to work on Monday with limitations after 2 ops and was told in no uncertain terms several times by one colleague I shouldn't be there. Anastacia is getting a lot of that on the internet. Yet how many threads have there been about a better dancer going out in the dance off? Maybe they should just revert to lowest votes goes out and put the results back on a Saturday. Anastacia will probably go this week but I admire her for trying to carry on in the face of so much abuse. Maybe Brendan told her to ignore everyone and just do what her body tells her.

Well yes as an adult after medical advise Anastacia has made her decision. Sometimes you just have to ignore the myriad of medical experts who don't have a medical degree just experience of one person they may or may not have known, with one set of circumstance.

Glad you are on the mend.

God I wish people would get some facts. You are not the BBC and you are not Anastacia so step down from your high and mighty chairs and have some respect
