I have a Samsung Smart TV Type UE37ES6300 Supplied with Sky Plus and a Samsung Hw-e350/xu Sound Bar.
I cannot find a smooth and speedy way to connect up any of the internet options and registering with Samsung or Netflix takes ages with the digital Keyboard.
I have a free start-up option with `netflix and, whilst I can watch it ok on my Apple iMAC, I would really like the option of watching it on my TV.
Will the use of an Amazon Fire TV stick help with getting my TV aligned with Netflix in an efficient manner.

The TV takes ages to link up with anything and I keep losing the log in screen.

It's probably finger trouble but I am about to throw in the towel followed by a brick instead.

Can any one advise?
Thank you.

Is your tv far away from your router?

I have the same model tv and connection via wifi was a bit flaky so I connected via ethernet cable and it's fine now.

My tv is 40 to 50 feet away from the router and the telephone line is enabled by using the 13A power distribution system (for reasons which I won't go into!!)

Is it feasible to reverse the geography of the router/PC situation and put a new and better router next to the TV and plug the telephone line into the existing and local positions.
I haven't worked that one through right now, but i will come back to it, but what about the Fire stick thingy. Exactly what does that do? Jeremy Clarkson keeps urging me to buy one so that I can watch his lot on Netflix.

I would suggest contacting your internet provider to go over a few things. They will be able to check your line and advise on improving wifi connection. It would also benefit you to google what can affect your wifi connection in the home.

The Amazon Fire stick will give you access to several services including Netflix and Amazon Prime. The new Clarkson show, Grand Tour, is on Amazon. You may need a Prime subscription to watch it.
