I loved watching Ed and Katya last week doing the charleston and I hope they stay in long enough for us to see them dancing the jive!

I was disappointed to see the "Great Balls of Fire" jive swapped for the samba in Movie Week.

I wanna see an Ed Rhumba - I think that could be epic!!

Yes, I'd have preferred the jive because 1) it is Katya's dance 2) It is most likely to be the Latin dance most suited to Ed.

As samba should be fun though.

Yes and he seems light on his feet. Actually I hope that they make it through week 10 at least.

Surprised TPTB missed out on a chance to do a far too literal song choice. Normally they love that sort of thing

Me too. I'd like to see Ed attempt everything including the AT. He's a trouper and I admire him far more now than when he was an MP. I'm loving Katya too so, go Ed & Katya!

Indeed. They are strangers to subtlety when it comes to song choice, which I find more than a little tedious. I will admit that I would quite like to see Ed Balls jiving, though. Maybe if he lasts long enough to improve a bit, it might be better to see a few weeks down the line.

Is it very wrong that I'm a bloke in my 50s but have fallen completely in love with Katya!!
She has achieved what I thought was impossible & made me want Ed Balls to stay in Strictly for as long as possible!!

I expected to loath Ed. I am somewhat discombobulated because he is strangely watchable. I am liking that he is so completely unshowbizzy. Its quite refreshing to have a normal every day bloke in the cast.

Yes- his complete inability to do inane banter with Claudia is oddly endearing.

Indeed. He responds seriously and sensibly, as if he is on Newsnight not Strictly. I am entertained that he is so unentertaining if you know what I mean. Its like watching a fish ride a bicycle.
