Geek Town have E4 starting season 10 on October 19th at 8.30pm

Not too Far behind US Pace at least but if that date is correct then that would be a Wednesday which would be unusual as for as far as I can remember it has always been on a Thursday evening

Yep just had an e-mail from Channel 4 telling me so.

Doesn't that clash with Bake Off? If so there'll be trouble at Elsinore.

That it does, and it's the semi-final too! And for +1ers it's up against the first episode of HIM. Another masterpiece of scheduling by C4!

So they are moving it to a Wednesday instead of a Thursday?

It was advertised during New Girl yesterday evening and it said Thursday 20th so now I'm really confused

I'd presume the actual ad is correct so guessing they must have changed it back to Thursdays already

Digiguide has it scheduled for both! Wednesday at 8.30, Thursday at 8.00!

I live the show. But I'm praying this is the final season, because it's been dragging for years now

It needs to end and be left in the history books of great comedy series along with friends, frasier and others

Well, they're under contract for at least another series next year so I don't think your prayers will be answered. And I for one am very glad of that. I've seen the first three episodes of this new season and it still makes me laugh out loud in an empty room so it can live on with my blessing! You could always, you know, just stop watching it!

Hear hear - a life without Sheldon Cooper would be a much poorer life!

Oh no I am definitely not ready for it ending, it still makes me laugh regularly and I think it still has loads of life left in it.

The contracts run out at the end off this season for Sheldon, Leonard and Penny. They signed 3 year contracts in August 2014.

Just decided to give the 1st episode of the new season a go.

Um...Penny's mum is supposed to be fat,not a MILF!!!

In one of the earlier episodes there was a scene at the start if you remember when Penny eats the last dumpling and Sheldon's put down is "I've seen pictures of your mother keep eating"

Another plot screw up, not a massive one but one that goes against the previous.

"I'm sure we've all met before, it feels like we've all known each other for ages !" ................

Could Military Man Colonel Richard Williams possibly be Howards' Father...

Maybe not !

(I've read the spoilers)

I enjoyed it especially Susan and Randall but where was Penny's sister and Leonard's brother (Michael) and sister?

Not really a plot screw up. That comment was made in season 5, that was 5 years ago. She could easily have lost weight in that time.

I watched the rerun of the previous season finale beforehand, wow hardly that memorable was it.

And the new season, yes they've finally done it Sheldon has tipped beyond the point of being amusingly annoying, glad he wasn't that central a character. Glad the whole Penny/Leonard wedding thing is over.

I think Katey Segal playing Penny's mother was a nod to the 8 Simple Rules days. Katey never seems to age though, always looks good.

Is the guy who played Penny's Dad the same actor who appeared before?

So you dismiss a completely logical possibility because... well... I don't know why. Any particular reason?

Let's be honest some people are like that, they obsess over a tv programme for no apparent reason and get all het up when something doesn't match up with a silly little comment made Lord knows how many seasons ago.

It's sad really.

What....... No..... The Feds would have found out about Becketts marriage back at the start of season 6......... See sad really.

I enjoyed it

One of the best episodes of the past 2-3 seasons, actually laughed out loud at a lot of the jokes

Hopefully the rest of the season can sustain some quality, the last few seasons only have about 4-5 memorable episodes
